Ok folks, I bought these a long time ago (2 sets) and FINALLY got around to installing on my work bench. I love the way it turned out, the wheels are great, manueverability is great, and the brakes work very well. Now for some pointers:If your work bench legs are two 2x4s or one 4x4, you may need to add an extra piece. I found that if I had tried to screw the casters in to the bottom of the 4x4 the screws would have been way too close to the sides for comfort (split wood, etc). I added an extra 2x4 short piece and turned the caster base long way to install in the custom made 2x6. (obviously these are wood dimensions and not actually 2" by 6"). The included hardware assumes your are mounting to something that you can drill clear through, but in my case I was needing to mount these into the wood. I spent $8 at the hardware store to buy some larger screws and washers that would work to install right into the wood. I predrilled the holes to minimize wood splitting. Also keep in mind, these wheels will increase whatever you install them on by about 6" in height. I used my compound miter saw and some determination to chop the legs of my workbench down by about 6". When I finished installing the casters, my workbench was perfect height. Only 2 of the wheels have brakes, which is perfect for me. The brakes are easy to apply and they hold strong!I am very pleased with how it turned out. I can't wait to build a saw table with my other set of these casters that I orderd.

These are truly heavy duty casters I mounted them on a drywall cart i had made I can move it loaded around with ease thank you VIMA

I bought these to put on a roll around island I built and they work great. Very well made and heavy duty.

Amazing,, they look great, and roll real nice. It's the "how long will they last" TEST/use. Time will tell.

Excellent product. Great locking mechanism. I built a drill press stand and used these wheels. When you lock them in place they don’t budge and it hold the stand steady.

My Haul-Master 24x36in Folding Platform Truck from Harbor Freight is very useful, but has poor wobbly wheels. I searched for better wheels, but could not find any that would fit the same four mounting holes of the holder. So instead of replacing the wheels and holders, I decided to just replace the wheels with these 5" VIMAs.The package was surprisingly heavy when it arrived. The mechanisms and wheels are very well designed. The gloves would not be needed for working with such clean wheels, except that when I removed the original wheels they smeared grease all over my hands. I was surprised to see that all 4 wheels had swivels (I thought 2 had swivels and brakes, while 2 were fixed. Having swivels on all 4 wheels can make it difficult to steer, especially on sloped surfaces).These wheels are just a bit narrower at the axles than the originals, easily dealt with by tightening the bolt and nut a bit more. It turns out the nut and bolt were the same thread as the originals, and I ended up using the original bolts with the VIMA nuts, for best appearance and fit. These wheels are designed so they will rotate smoothly regardless of how much you tighten the axle bolts.These are not pneumatic rubber tires. When moving over a rough floor, you can feel and hear the surface of the floor, as you can for a tiled floor, or even a carpeted floor. When moving over a simulated hardwood floor, the wheels are very quiet and smooth. Much like a sports car.The set also included 17 sets of M8 bolts and nuts, 25mm long (1 set exra).The only bad thing about these wheels is that they are too good: My cart now starts moving if there is even the slightest slope to the floor, unlike the original wheels which had a bit more friction in the bearings.

Heavy duty all the way around. They roll incredibly well and lock tight the wheel and swivel at the same time. Release is VERY easy as is the locking mechanism. Havent fully tested the weight capacity but I have put 200# on them and they dont seem to care. Comes packaged with a set of gloves and a cheesy wrench but those aren't really serious adds but the nut/bolts and casters are well worth the money.

Castor rolls really well. They swivel easily. Locks really hold.
