Very handy for travel.

The mirror itself is nice, but is not fogless as advertised. The main problem with this mirror is that it uses three little suction cups that flip open to attach to any smooth surface. First, the suction cups are very small and I could only get them to stick to a smooth glass surface. The real fun starts when trying to remove the mirror's suction cups from the surface they are stuck to. I found that I could not remove the suction cups by prying them, I had to remove the mirror from the cups first and then try to get my fingernail under the cups and lift them off. They are so small that this results in them flying off the surface and going onto the floor, into the sink, into the toilet, under the cabinets, etc.After a few times, the suction cups don't stay in place on the mirror and can just fall out.Poor design for a product that has to be put up and taken down frequently during travel.

I've used this mirror for years and all the reviews are true. If you travel or go to the gym often it is very convenient. And, yes, it does fog up from time to time but a handful of water splashed on it will fix that. The suction cups work most of the time but need a flat surface. Somebody complained about the inability of the shelf to hold weight...well that's true; I wouldn't put a full can of shaving cream on it but a razor and toothbrush would be okay. And it can break...it's just plastic. And it's true the clarity is not perfect but this is a product for portability, not perfection. Oh, and the reviewer who noticed that some razors don't hang depending on the model...that's true but all you have to do is lay it on the shelf, so no big deal. All in all, this is a decent and convenient travel mirror for the frequent traveler. Not great but it works.

Bought this mirror for my son, who does a lot of traveling. He loves it, and says it works well! Also, he likes the fact that it folds up and is compact, so it's great for packing away in a suitcase or travel carry-on bag. You just have to pay attention to the instructions and follow them prior to use to keep it fogless. A great buy at a terrific price.

Purchased this mirror to take with me to the gym to allow me to shave in the shower. (Waiting for an open sink was getting old). The first day I stuck it up on the glass shower door via the suction cups, turned on the shower, and it immediately fogged up. THAT'S RIGHT, THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. No soap build up to blame, no hard water to blame.... and it remained fogged-up. Now I simply splashed a little water on it to get the fog to go away. The size and other feature work well.....The suction cups work extremely well on glass, but on two seperate occasions I have removed the mirror and the cups remained on the glass. I spent a few minuted trying to pry these little "guys" off of the glass and reassemble on the mirror (before I misplaced them).In short, this is a great mirror for intermitent use when traveling. Don't expect it to be fog-free though. And when removing it from glass, you need to slide it down the surface to break the seal or the suction cups dissengage.

I have used a shower mirror for many years. Shaving is much easier this way. However, when I traveled I would always have to go back to the old method of shaving after my shower. However with this perfectly portable shower mirror I can continue with my efficient habit and not hack up my face. The mirror has three suction cups which conveniently fold away for travel. When ready to use simply wet the cups and the shower wall with some warm water, press the cups against the wall, fold out the tray and voila, you've got a shower mirror. This is the only way for a man to shave. I am thinking of buying a few extra as gifts.

Just purchased another one. I purchased my first one over 10 years ago and the airline just lost my bag so I need another. As with any suction cup in the shower you must clean the soap scum from the area of the wall where you want to hang it. While the suction cups are small there are three so they hold quite well. When I purchased my first one there was a defect in the hinge. Two minutes of research on the internet got me the address of the manufacturer. I mailed it to them and they replaced it immediately.
