Review: Good Greenhouse Fan - This fan was easy to install, and functions as advertised. The design made installation easy with a large mounting edge. The temperature control works great, and the fan is powerful enough to quickly cool our 128 sq ft greenhouse. It has dropped the temperature by over 20 degrees. Make sure to secure all sides of the fan or it will vibrate. The louvers work as they should. The main power cord is too short, and you will need to extend the cord length so you can attach the temperature control box to a stud. Also, it only comes with one cord strain relief, so you will need a second one of those.
Review: Going strong for two years. - Great exhaust fan. Installed it high up in my garage and it does a great job if sucking out the heat sitting up there along with smoke and fumes. I only turn it on when needed. I did install a rheostat to control the speed, lower it a bit in winter so it doesn't suck out all the heat, but it buzzes quite a bit when not running full speed. Other than that it moves a lot of air and I'd definitely recommend.

This fan was easy to install, and functions as advertised. The design made installation easy with a large mounting edge. Great exhaust fan. Installed it high up in my garage and it does a great job if sucking out the heat sitting up there along with smoke and fumes. I only turn it on when needed. I needed an exhaust fan for my generator enclosure and I didn't want to put a giant fan and that takes up half the wall, but I didn't want to go too small either. That's why I picked this 14-in one. That's a good size for my needs as long as it removes the hot air and exhaust from my shed. After I installed it, and the vent and insulation I got inside of the box and turned the fan on and I could feel quite a bit of air rushing through there. The shed at the time was in my barn so it may be better once I get it outside where the breeze will blow through it. Anyway it works, It's fairly quiet which I like. Plus it's thermostated which may or may not work for me but I wanted the option. I thought the price was a little steep, but I guess not when you look at some of your box stores. They were really big bucks. My biggest complaint about this one is that the louvers don't shut all the way down every time. If you pick them up with your hand and just let go of them they go all the way shut but sometimes when the fan runs and they open and then it stops there's a small gap where they don't close completely. Not a big deal except for there's a possibility of bugs, bees getting in and nesting. I'm not sure if that's something I can do anything about or something I'll have to address later. I looked at several other fans even after I found this one, but I came back to this one cuz it seemed like the right choice.
