Nice red dot system for shotgunners.
I put this red dot on my Benelli M2 and it appears to be a very nice fit and the dot is at the right sight level to see the vent rib on the barrel to co-witness the sights if needed. No way to install a red dot on most shotguns with machining, drilling and taping the receiver so this Burris Speedbead is cheaper, easier, and won't alter the firearm if you want to remove it later on.Red dots are a wonderful addition to some older shooters with aging vision issues and Turkey hunters can get a perfect head shot every time, that said I was a little disappointed in the installation instructions (none included) so I had to research it online then modify the Speedbead bracket to fit over the stocks alignment pins properly otherwise the stock would not reengage the holes in the back of the receiver deep enough to prohibit the stock rotating if bumped or twisted during recoil. This is why I gave the Speedbead 4 stars otherwise it is a good red dot addition and will help most shotgun shooters be a better shot. The seller was quick to deliver, and price was fair so no problems with them. I hope this review helps.

speed bead rocks
I purchased the speed bead for my Benelli Supernova because it had iron sights and I could not see the front post that good at dawn and dusk when I was hunting for Whitetail deer. The product works as advertised and it has a nice red dot that one can see really well. For my purposes it is excellent I have not tried it out for wing shooting or anything like that but I don't see why it wouldn't work as advertised in that scenario as well. All in all it does what it says it will do and I would buy it again for another shotgun.

Not what I expected.
They always show a solid ring in there pictures. Remington 870/1100 is a thin broken ring which I found difficult to install. Adjustments needed to get the red dot to appear where needed once installation was complete. I need to shoot this at clay birds and field use to see if it remains in correct position. I cannot comment further until then.

Really good on my Benelli M2.
Installed it on my Benelli M2 3 Gun edition. Using it for a few matches and went to sbooting trap for a few time. Went to crow hunt last week, one shot everytime! You should have it too!

Do not buy for a Montefeltro
The mount does not fit a montefeltro without forcing, drilling or crimping the roll pins. I called Burris customer service to ask for help. After being on hold forever, the customer service guy (or should I say lack of customer service guy) informed me to take it to a gunsmith. I asked if it is labeled for a montefeltro why does it not fit - his answer again was take it to a gunsmith. I thanked him for his wonderful customer service and told him I nor my sons will ever buy another burris product again. It is hard to take spending that much money to only be told to spend more to make it work.

More clarification
I bought this to use with my Benelli Super Black Eagle II (Item# 300240). There is a confusion about how many MOA this red dot is. It is 8 MOA and the only way to get the 3 MOA version is if you buy it without the SpeedBead™ Mount. It will cost you more than buying the combo.Pros: * Mounts super low between the stock and the receiver. You can see the whole barrel. * Digital push-button brightness controls. It covers bright day light to dark. * Compact and lightweight. This red dot is tiny! It really blends with the shotgun. I would put this in a handgun too. * The warranty seems to be pretty good, at least on paper.Cons: * The description is wrong, it says 4 MOA, but it is 8 MOA! The dot is pretty big. I zeroed it at 50 yards and it covers 4 inches, so don't expect bullseye accuracy. * Mounting it can be pretty tricky, I strongly recommend to watch a video before trying to mount the base or you can ruim your stock or even the mount. Once the base is mounted, good luck trying to remove it.Other thoughts: The price changes a lot, so wait until you get a good discount, if you are not in a hurry. I probably would buy the 3 MOA Fastfire III and the SpeedBead™ Mount separated. I think that the 8 MOA dot is too big and if later I decide to mount this on a rifle or even a handgun, I will regret.

Awesome sight crappy mount
Great sight, super easy to shoot clays if you keep both eyes open. Sight is rock solid but the mount sucks. It's probably more because of the 870's design then burris's but if you screw down the stock screw solid it doesn't move. This is a fastfire 3 sight wih 8 moa red dot.
