They break but they don’t shatter
The unbreakable plate 😂 These plates seemed like a good choice for grandbabies. A compromise between grown up dinnerware and plastic ware. At least they don’t shatter when they break and you won’t cut your feet on glass... that is if they can make it to your house in one piece. The bowls survived, but the plates must not be as durable. I will have to keep looking for an alternative.100 characters is a bit much to review a plate. Am I there yet? How about now? I’m gonna be late for work... this is insane... all for a plate? Man amazon, are you doing ok these days? Everything alright? Has anyone checked on Jeff?

DO NOT MICROWAVE / OR COOK WITH
The look of these are exactly as pictured. They are a SEXY set and very light weight. Looks aside there are a few things to consider before purchasing this set:1. THEY ARE NOT MICROWAVABLE: When I purchased this set, I didn't see anywhere in the description that this was the case. When I received the set (well packaged), there was tons of documents saying NOT MICROWAVABLE. So, if you are preparing a meal and have them on the table a bit to long, you can't just place the whole plate in the microwave.2. They are very LIGHTWEIGHT: they feel like the plates that kids have in their play-sets. so they look expensive, but feel cheap.3. They don't feel like the plate you can place over your hot skillet to turn your GORDON RAMSEY hash browns. They feel as if you place a hot item on them they will melt like a plastic plate.Honestly, I am on the fence regarding these plates as they really LOOK good. I will give them a couple weeks to go through my cooking routines, and if they cant hold true, I'll either return or use them for meal that don't require reheating.

Lesson Learned
The dishes look exactly like the pictures. My only regret is that I did not read what the plates were made from, and they’re NOT porcelain. They feel like plastic. They’re basically decorative plastic plates that cost over $50! I’m bummed but they’re durable so I’ll keep them. Lesson learned.

NOT MICROWAVE SAFE!
I cant rate anything about these plates as far as if they're sturdy or look good. After ordering them I was going through the reviews and questions and realized they are microwave friendly. I went back and looked at the description to see if I had missed it in the fine print somewhere. Nope. It never actually says it. It says what it is safe for but doesn't bother to say you cant microwave them. I had bought these as kitchen dishes. Won't do me any good without being able to reheat.

Do NOT Microwave
Decent little set with the caveat of feeling too light and not being microwaveable.
