I purchased these for my girlfriend who has full on mesophonia. They didn't seem to make the slightest difference to her, and of course aren't the most comfortable things to wear for long periods (or even short).We returned them before it was too late and we would be unable to get a refund...Just a thought....If as the manufacturer says these do make a difference, why does the manufacturer not let you keep them to fully trial them rather than returning them? They probably cost around 10p max to produce, and so you send them back at the company's expense on Prime which will exceed the manufacture cost at least tenfold???Other than that, why not pitch the price at something that more accurately reflects a fraction of a pennies worth of pre moulded rubber?Had she been able to keep them, she may have found some eventual benefit in them and become a lifetime user??? Given how easily they are lost this would fill a stream of revenue for the company and also enhance the products reputation.We were not bothered and do not expect freebies, but it did surprise us as a missed opportunity for the company.Having said that we were more than happy to let them return to get the money refunded.We doubt these will work for most people and feel that interest in the product will wear out before too long. Pitching the price this high in the early period of a new largely experimental product doesn't seem the wisest of moves before societal acceptance of it's efficacy?Apologies, but we can only speak for how we find and these didn't work, were too expensive

Fantastic - but I feel like they done some damage

Below is my first review. Here is my updated one. I have upgraded my review to 5 stars because despite the tiny inconvenience of feeling them trying to fall out sometimes, that has fallen into insignificance today when I experienced them working at their best. I'm currently sat in a noisy busy pub. I'm having a conversation with my wife and can hear her just fine. I decided to take them out of my ears and couldn't put them back in fast enough. The sound literally hurt. I could hear additional annoying sounds I hadn't noticed before. It reminded me of when you see Superman as a boy in Man of Steel trying to cope with his super hearing. What a transformation! I think I would have really struggled in this environment if it wasn't for these ear plugs. Absolutely amazing!It's weird how they work. It takes the edge off loud and irritating noise. They do work their way out so need pushing back in from time to time. I was sceptical but pleasantly surprised.

I really can't tell if these work atm. I've had them for a few days and am currently sitting with the noisiest crisp eater ever and saying that I don't want to rip my own skin off.It's early days tho and I haven't got to test them on whistlers and pen clickers. I'm giving a 3 star atm because I can still hear the irritating noises but can't figure out if they now annoy me or its a natural trigger (hate that term!). Will update soon....

These are great to help filter irritating noises while still being able to hear the person you are speaking to and not have the muffled inside your head noises which can be irritating in themselves.I wear them to work so I can remain calm and focused. I wear them 5-7 hours without any issues of pain or discomfort.My right one fits better than the left, but I realise that we are not symmetric beings.

Arrived on time and well packaged with plenty of paperwork to accompany them. Came with a handy little bag to store them, however the bag is filled with small fibres so as soon as you put them in there, you then spend ages trying to get all the fibres off the ear plugs to use them. I really wanted these to work as I am surrounded by talking people in a large office and just needed to lesson the severity of the conversations so I could concentrate more but it made no difference whatsoever, gutted. I had read a load of reviews and got sucked into the logic of how they work, but unfortunately for me it was a waste of money. I will try and pass them onto someone else see if they feel any benefit instead.

These are so great! I ordered a pair from the official site when they first came out but I forgot to use them and then promptly lost them. I figured I'd buy a new pair because my issues with sounds and speech have gotten worse lately, and the shop I work at has become insanely loud and busy.I cant always cope with a lot of noise, and occasionally the types and levels of noise cause me to breakdown with stress. Babies crying, people touching rough surfaces, certain people's voices, breathing noises and even the loud shocking noises at work, all of which I find unbearable/difficult to control my actions around are rounded and have little-no effect on me when I wear these. Voices heard through speaker systems, which often sound like a garbled mess to me sound much clearer with these.The sense of relaxation when I have them in is something I haven't felt for a long time. Like others say, they don't mute sounds, they just take a slight edge off them, making them more rounded. They've helped me stay calm and not overwhelmed at work and I'm even able to watch most TV shows without subtitles, which I haven't been able to do for a long while.All in all I would absolutely recommend if you struggle with noise! You can feel your muscles unknitting within a few hours of wearing them which is a big relief. It's the first time I've been able to cope comfortable to such cacophony for years.
