No it will make a rattling sound because that's part of the puzzle. Mine sounds the same way but it's perfectly fine. Just don't bang it against things thinking it's got something stuck!

Is this harder than the nutcase

Much harder. I had nutcase apart and back together in 10 minutes. I still haven’t put quartet back together. I set it aside for the last long while because I got frustrated with it.

Does the solution to Nutcase involve a cross-threaded nut? I need to know if I am breaking my puzzle and need to get it back.
