A Putting Practice Essential
I've had the PuttOUT trainer for a year and now and it's great. I use it on a mat at home and my local practice greens. It's absolutely great when practice greens are congested and you don't want to wait around to share cups with everyone. I highly recommend this putting aid for personal use as well as gifting it to any golfers in your life.

Precision required.
Extremely challenging. Makes indoor putting fun again. Amazing design with instant feedback. Definitely makes you focus on speed and feel. Make sure to get some good golf balls to enjoy for hours.

Great for practicing short putts
This is a great tool for practicing shorter putts, especially those within about 5-6 feet. You can definitely use it for longer putts but the ramp only returns the ball about 3 feet so longer putts won’t come back far enough for you to rake the ball back for your next putt. If you can make all your putts within 5-6 feet, your scores will definitely come down. Phil Mickleson has a 100 putt drill that requires you to make 100 putts in a row from 3 feet so practicing putts from 5-6 feet is plenty for working on your consistency. Getting the ball to stick in the smaller hole is hard and requires the right speed as well as right direction. When I’m in the groove, I’ll get 4-5 in a row to stick in the small hole. However I actually prefer that it doesn’t stick in the hole because then I have to reach over and knock the ball out of the hole with my putter to continue.I think that if you can get the ball to click or catch briefly in the smaller hole, then it was a good putt even if the ball doesn’t stay in the small hole. These kinds of drills are most important for golfers playing in tournaments or who play more seriously with friends. That is, no “gimmes“ or “inside the leather” agreements. The device folds up nicely and you can easily put it in your bag to take to a practice green to warm up if you want to. Sometimes practice greens get quite crowded and you may not have a free hole to putt to so this can give you your own private area to practice.I haven’t used the hole for the alignment stick yet but I’m sure it would help with keeping your putter stroke on line going back and through.I have not had any problems with durability or construction. It seems quite sturdy. It’s possible that the person reporting problems here with the little cup breaking was pushing it out forward instead of backwards as it is designed to be used.

Decent tool for alignment and speed
It is a nice little tool for working on putt speed and it is very easy to setup and use. A bit gimmicky, but when you finally land a putt it is pretty self assuring. It is worth the money and functions like it says. Easy to manage as the size allows you to take it with you to any practice site.

Great Putting Tool
Great putting tool for winter! I've only made 1 perfect putt from distance but challenge keeps me coming back

Simple yet very effective training aid
This is a very good training aid to dial in both your aim and pace for short putts. It takes the perfect putt to land one into the cup. It’s very difficult to do but extremely satisfying when you pull it off. I’ve steadily improved the more I use this — I used to be able to do it once every 10 putts (from 3 feet) and now I can do it about 3 times per 10 putts. And on the course I’m much more confident on the short putts. I just pretend that I’m aiming for that micro target then all of a sudden the hole seems huge.

I love this little guy
Practicing short putts on a mat is so boring. I like this thing because trying to hit the speed and direction just right keeps me engaged and before I know it I've been practicing for 20 minutes. Makes time fly by. It folds up a bit so I've taken it on trips and to the office. You of course need a decent surface to use it on.

Works fine
This is exactly what it looks like. It’s probably no more useful as a “training aid” than putting into an old coffee mug turned on its side like I’ve always done, but time spent on your putting stroke works no matter the target. It’s a little plastic cup that snaps into place and folds back up. Seems well made.I will say the smaller target up top is worthless. I spent 20 minutes hitting six-inch putts trying to get one to stick. And I’m a decent putter who can take a run at breaking 80 on most courses.I finally got a longer putt (10 feet-ish) to stick in the smaller hole with an extreme in-to-out path — like hitting an intentional snap hook with my putter — but that’s not really the stroke I’m looking to groove.
