Really ? This is well worth the money !
I absolutely LOVE this knife ! I have been carrying this knife for quite some time now, and finally decided to write a review. Super lightweight, very sturdy, and man oh man ! Can it take an edge ! Woo ! I sharpened this thing and it is SCARY sharp. I am on blood thinners and I am extra careful with this knife because I don't want to bleed to death. The price (if I remember correctly) $13-$14 is insane. It is worth every penny. I have some knives in my collection well over $100 that I never carry in my pocket and probably never will. Simply for the fact they just don't have the performance of this little knife, nor do they hold an edge as well. If you are thinking of buying this knife, don't. Don't think, just buy it !

better than an opinel. lightweight. sturdy as is for light material. goodvalue
great light weight knive. had money for bout 3 wks. have used heavily. simple materials & simple mechanism. not a hard core knive but a great everyday. I seen a review someone comparing this to an opinel #8. I tried one. wasnt impressed & thought the mam was way better quality & more sturdy blade. it is a cheaper blade but slight movement but has not moved on me & the lock has held up & I've put sum weight into it. sum peeps complain the lock is backwards, honestly it hasn't even been a deal. I like it better cause easier to close one handed in my opinion. overall this is a great inexpensive knive & I'm looking into others. the opinel in my opinion isn't better than this 1. get one you'll be pleased. like said not a hardcore unbreakable knive but a very good light everyday carry that will eat most common stuff u cut. came super sharp & holds a edge decent. I'm happy. the 4 star review is lacking 5 only due to whatever blade material all these knive co"s use these days. get one. decent knives.

I love it.
Ok so I love old school anything and when i saw this knife i had to have it. It reminds me of being a kid watching my father carve with wooden handle knives and i always appreciate anything that doesnt have plastic on it. That said this knife really delivers. I love the wooden handle it looks really nice and clean. The blade looks almost like a razor blade and makes me think that i can use it to shave lol. It is german steel so it is very durable and pretty already though im probably gonna sharpen it just a bit more. This knife is definitely going in my EDC kit and i cant wait to get some good use out of it. If youre like me and appreciate the simple things you cannot go wrong with this knife especially for that price.

This is NOT an Opinel substitute or replacement.
This knife is OK.....just, and it is NOT an Opinel. The steel isn't great and the factory edge is abysmal.I may gift it or put a decent edge on it and just keep it for 'disposable' use.

Elegant
Simple, ingenious and elegant design. Thin flat ground locking blade. Very functional and aesthetically pleasing. Lightweight, suitable for backpacking.

I’ve carried this knife four years and I love it.
I love this knife. It’s held up well for me. I use it every day. I have many more expensive knives and this is the one I choose to brag about! Worth every penny if you like this style blade like I do. It also sharpens easy.

Nice knife but maybe not for me
I bought this to see how it feels compared to my simple carbon steel Opinel and while I do like it, it may not be for me.I like how thin and light it is, and the lanyard makes it a pinch to tug out to slice stuff like fruit, boxes and the odd interesting stick. The sheepsfoot blade was also nice in it’s size, it was easy to stick on a stud to make one handed opening way easier. Plus the linerlock, which I got this specifically for, is a great plus. However, I did fall a little bit out of love for it because I can’t quite get it as sharp as the Opinel. I place 98-99% of the blame on my absolutely sub par freehand sharpening skills, but I did see a noticeable curve in the edge when looking at it from the handle with a bright backdrop and I’m unable to work around it. I’m sure more practice and experimentation will allow me to work through it, but it is a little annoying. All in all, a nice little cutter, but I think I’m going to stick to the Opinel for now.I’d give this knife a 4.5 if I could and I’m tempted to buy another one to see if I get luckier with the blade straightness.

Not my favorite cheapo folder by far.
I've heard people say they really like the MAM over the rest of the popular cheap folders out there (higonokami, douk-douk, etc.). I do not agree. The whole thing feels too far on the cheap side. Blade is thin and flimsy. Grind is awful. Even the lock is awkward (due to having to press it up to release instead of down -- probably great for lefties though) and the blade wiggles around a lot when locked. It's a "no" for me.
