Very good
Lots of great riches of information to digest. It's a book reading several times over. I would recommend this for sure to anyone that wants to leverage not just teaching but learning yourself.

Good book, but focuses more on learning rather than teaching.
It was a good read and had a couple of learning ideas that I had not considered myself. My main critique is that this seems more like a book on learning rather than teaching. I would say it's roughly a 60-40 split. More detailed examples or case studies from the teaching aspect would be nice, to see how to apply more of these strategies in a classroom setting. Sometimes the book stays a little too theoretical. Regardless, I would still recommend this book for anyone who likes to learn and teach as it still manages to cover the fundamentals.

Do NOT discount the value of this book at 99 cents
As a professional tutor, I was gratified to read the strategies and methods I was using are reflected in this book. However, the depth it goes into; all I can say is WOW.This is a newly published write and so I felt obligated to give the earliest feedback possible. I am not finished, yet, but will be shortly. I plan to read/listen to it several more times, at a minimum. If you are in the teaching/related professions OR just want to learn better, buy this book.A shout out to the author - magnificent - write more, please!!

Anyone can learn how to teach
Teaching other people about anything takes a great deal of concentration and motivation, but this book really breaks it down for us. It goes into how to teach faster, keep engagement high, and allow people to be curious. Anyone can learn how to teach!I enjoyed how the author added sections in the book on the science of education and the progression of thinking. It's important to learn the foundation/basics before going onto more complex topics. Recommended for anyone interested in learning how to teach!

Pragmatic but also Philosophical
I have been on a journey as a Psychology Professor to make learning “experiential.” This book helped me do just that. It helped “correct” my mindset, but also provided practical ways to make that happen! This is a must read for those seeking to be an excellent teacher! This is a book for a “status-quo” educator.

Learning methodology
This book focuses more on learning than on teaching, but is a broad overview of different methods in that sense

Humans learn, understand and recall better through visual methods.
I found the takeaways and summary guide as immediate and useful application of the book.Suggestions: Add infographics and promote visual thinking and the use of technplogy, for say spaced repetition and flash cards. Sample app is Anki. The teaching and learning methodology is very analog in an emerging digital ecosystem.

Will it deliver on its title?
This book is a generalized discussion of current popular pedagogical techniques and theories. As a 20 + year teacher I have to warn anyone who reads this book hoping to become a super effective teacher, this book is not nearly enough. There was nothing in it that I haven’t learned, tried or experienced before. I am good at my job, but still struggle to be better everyday. (Which is why I got this book- it never hurts to try to learn something new.) the book does not fulfill its promise. You will find out the facts, techniques and concepts trained teachers use, but learning how to teach anything effectively will require years of dedicated practice.

How to Teach Anything
The topics in this book are well presented and easy to follow, with a list of teaching techniques and tools. Even if you are an experienced teacher or trainer, there are things it contains that you will find useful.

A good overview of a range of teaching strategies and techniques
Although aimed at teaching "students", the contents is also applicable to those needing to pass on business knowledge and process to new employees (I came across the book while looking for that kind of material). It contains a good overview of a range of teaching strategies and techniques - relevant to a range of circumstances and subjects - a fair few of which I aim to incorporate into how I structure and implement my training plans. It gives pointers on learning/how we take in and retain information, which is useful for both the learner and the teacher (we're all learning something). Written in a readable and engaging style.
