I bought this switch rather than chaining two switches together to provide 9 ports in my home office. The positives: It has no fan so it’s silent and there’s less to break. It has good throughput. It has keyways cut in to the base, allowing it to be mounted on a wall, under a desk, etc. The only negative I can see is that the configuration means the switch is physically a bit wide (29 cm, or about 11.5”) but not overly so. Mine is mounted on the underside of my desk so this isn’t an issue for me. Overall it is excellent bang for buck!

Ce switch Gigabit est parfait pour une utilisation privé ou professionnelle pour une petite entreprise avec un petit réseau. La configuration se fait facilement via l'interface web. Cependant, des connaissances en réseau (notion de vlan, de tag...) sont nécessaires si on veut utiliser ces fonctionnalités. Il est très petit et se loge facilement dans une armoire ou même accroché au mur. L'avantage du fanless c'est qu'il ne fait pas de bruit, ce qui est non négligeable si comme moi il est installé dans le placard du couloir des chambres :) Je voulais remplacer mon cisco 12 ports qui était en 100 mbps et ce TPlink m'a franchement convaincu. A voir maintenant dans le temps s'il est fiable. Les plus : - Petit, discret - Silencieux - 16 ports Gigabits - Administrable - Prix raisonnable Les moins : - 1 ou 2 ports POE auraient été un plus (il en existe peut-être une version, j'avoue ne pas avoir regardé) - Administration un peu complexe si on veut gérer les vlans, les trunks mais la documentation en ligne est bien faite
