The Crocodile Under the Bed

My 5 year old loved this book , she read it herself and enjoyed it

Book for 3 1/2 year old granddaughter

I got this book after The tiger who came to tea by judith ker. But I would say this book is not as good as The tiger who came to tea. The illustrations are very dull . Slightly disappointed because of high expectations we had after the tiger who came to tea.But though the story is moderate my kid enjoys the story. So overall felt contented 😬

I really enjoyed the story. Illustrations are wonderful. Judith Kerr is my favourite illustrator!

My son is almost 3 and he literally knows this book off by heart now. He is fascinated by everything in the book and loves the bit at the end when the crocodile is under the bead eating the cake! and his other best part is when Matty is sliding on the huge snake, and lands in the water. He draws along the snake with his finger as if he is Matty sliding and does all the sound effects and tells me I must do the same, so when we get to that page, there is a whole performance that goes on. He also loves the fact that Matty goes to the party in his pajamas! great book, as are all Judith Kerr's books.
