Does it make hair lose volume?

Not from my experience. Live brand shampoos are gentle and seem to help keep my hair soft. I have never noticed any volume loss or less bounce.

Is it safe to use on color treated hair?

This shampoo is actually the only thing that has (finally) removed the semi-permanent color from my hair. It might be ok for highlights (?) but not for color added to your hair.

Can this shampoo be used to fade semi-permanent color? (e.g. color-depositing conditioner)

To be honest, i really don't know because my hair is silver. I can honestly day the this shampoo works wonderfully for oily hair! 💯
