Is it just me being stupid but how do you put the suckers on because without them it just falls off the window?!

Start with the uppermost suction Cup, if they are the same as mine, push the cup firmly to the window then turn the grip clockwise, this should then tighten the cups grip on the window, Keep the cup pressed against the window as you turn the grip. Hope this helps.

which sucker fits into the unit. 2 are provided but one does not seem to fit. The other will not stay on the window.

Has anyone else had issues attracting birds to this? If I place seed on the ledge directly below, birds come almost instantly. But not to the feeder?

I guess it will depend on the location, which species are around, and what food you put out. Ours are stocked with fat balls and are used mainly by Robins but also Blue Tits and Great Tits. Magpies attempt to make off with whole fat balls and usually smash the feeder off the window. You won't get ground feeders using them. Birds are cautious and it takes a few days before they get used to seeing the feeders.

Is it suitable for a flat 3 stories up? Will it fall off of pigeons come to it?

No mine is two stories up no problem at all wood piguen at mine just watch the little runs for them to stand on i got this for my living room as i have just gone through major operation and wanted to able to watch wild life
