Cheaper than a pet store
I bought this water bottle after the large glass version I owned began to leak too frequently. This bottle works really well, it drips occasionally but there is never a wet spot in the cage, so I’m hesistant to say it leaks. My rats didnt use it for the first week it was in their cage, but now they prefer it over their other bottle. Its plastic, so washing it and rinsing it a few times is good.

PERFECT CLEAR 8oz KAYTEE WATER BOTTLE WITH DUCKY WATER LEVEL INDICATOR
NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS TOO CUTE, LITTLE DUCKY, KAYTEE 8oz (236mL) WATER BOTTLE.This water bottle is absolutely perfect and goes great with my green, red, purple, and yellow hamster cage!I really like that this bottle is clear and you can easily see the little duck from a distance so I know when my hamster, Fatty, needs more water. This is the perfect hamster water bottle and at $5.69 it’s a great price with Prime shipping. This is the cheapest price I found online!~Remember the bottle will not stop dripping while you hold it because your hand actually puts a slight pressure on the bottle...it doesn't usually stop dripping until you hang it on a cage or carrier.~BE SURE THE METAL SPRING ATTACHMENT (HANGS WATER BOTTLE ON CAGE) ISN’T TOO TIGHT OR SQUEEZING THE WATER BOTTLE MAKING IT DRIP!~The first little drips are the first release of water created as your water bottle forms a new vacuum seal (when the air space and water volume equalize). This little release of water is the after effect of this equalization as the pressure stabilizes, and it is perfectly normal & not a sign of a leaking water bottle.~To help establish the vacuum seal when the water bottle is first filled and mounted, tap the ball bearing several times with your fingertip to speed up the equalization of the vacuum pressure.IF YOUR WATER BOTTLE HAS A CONTINUOUS LEAK/DRIPS TRY THESE TIPS:1)Check inside the cap of your bottle, and you should see a rubber gasket inside the cap. If the gasket is missing or damaged, your bottle will continuously drip.2)Fill the water bottle completely full with water. A bottle filled halfway will take longer to create a vacuum and will drip more.3)Once you have filled the bottle, tighten the cap securely, tap the ball bearing at the sink a few times, hang it on the cage/crate, and tap the ball bearing a few more times. Your water bottle should stop dripping within a few minutes. The smaller the bottle, the quicker the dripping will stop.4)Hold the bottle so that the tube is facing up, squeeze the bottle until you force a small amount of water out, then turn it over and hang it on the cage/crate. (Think of it like a doctor clearing a syringe of air before giving you a shot.) The 32 oz and 64 oz bottles will take longer to form a vacuum than the 8 and 16 oz bottles.5)Keep the water bottle out of direct sunlight and from warming too much because this will make the water leak as well.6)If the animal continually shakes the cage, this can shake the water bottle which will leak as well. You can put a little drip protector underneath to catch the water.

Leaks constantly but holds better than other bottles I've dealt with
Been trying every different bottle for my rabbit I swear we just have the worst luck. Every bottle we've purchased that claimed to be leak resistant leaked more than anything else. This one still leaks constantly but it's not AS BAD as the other ones so I gave it 4 stars. It does the job, although messy. It's a slow leak but at least I'm not having to soak up water from the rabbits cage area like I had to with other bottles. I kept trying new ones and every time I just went back to this one with the duck floaty in it.

It's nice
The only problem have with it is the nozzle bends downward a bit too much. But I don't think it's a problem for my piggies.

Love!
Water bottle is great! There’s even a floating duck to make it easy to see when it needs to be filled.

Worth it
Compared to the niteangel bottle, this does everything it was trying to do. Barely leaks and gives water when needed.

Did not work
I just needed an extra for my gerbil who was in quarantine. I noticed the water level was not going down, I tapped the ball and nothing happened tried cleaning and shaking everything. The only time water came out was when I squeezed it so had to buy a new one from a different place. Duck was cute tho.

Great for the price, I highly recommended this bottle.
I’m not quite sure why people are having so many issues with these water bottles. I have ordered 4 of these, to replace my rabbits heavy glass bottles. (Yes, I do have 4 rabbits) I have only ordered 4 because I have 4 rabbits not because the bottles break. I prefer these bottles to glass ones because they are not heavy, and therefore they do not bend the walls of the bunny cages. Also, my rabbits had trouble getting water out of the glass bottles. I have had these bottles for one year, and yes they still preform just fine. They do leak the tiniest bit, but hey at least my rabbits can get water out of them, and for $6 per bottle I’m surprised how long they have lasted. Don’t hesitate to buy this water bottle for your small pets, it’s a great product.

Great Quality But Small Size
These bottles are amazing. My guineapigs only seem to love these specific bottles so while waiting on the bigger one I bought this. The girls seem to love it. However this thing is a small size and keep that in mind. Yes you have to fill it more often but you can use this as a second (or third) bottle. It’s small, cute and compact

Leaks a lot
The bottle is easy to squeeze, so even just the pressure from it being held onto the cage makes the water squeeze out. The lid also constantly drips so the bottom of the cage is soaked within minutes.

The head provides just enough resistance for my bunny to comfortably draw water
I have a netherland dwarf that loves this particular bottle and the spring loaded ball tip that they use. I've tried a number of other solutions for water dispensing including the non-spring loaded ball tip and then interesting spring loaded rod tips. The former unfortunately leaked all the time, and while the latter didn't leak, simply too much force was required for my bunny to disengage the water lock.I've used the 16oz and now the 32oz iterations of this bottle, changing because my bunny is now a year old and was finishing the 16oz bottle in about 1.5 days. The spring loaded ball is equally effective on both models. You'll sometimes have to engage the head to release some water and get a proper vacuum going, but in general I haven't had any leakage. The head provides just enough resistance for my bunny to comfortably draw water. One grip I do have with this is the mounting mechanism. With the current fence set up I have, the bars are horizontal, meaning there's left to right movement of the metal spring bracket when my bunny drinks from the bottle. In addition, there is no proper mounting mechanism for the head of the bottle - it's just expected that you slip the bottle head through the fence, and have it rest there. However, the vertical beams of my fence are not close enough to effectively prevent movement of the bottle head. As a result, I've had to mount the bottle through a slitted wall hay dispenser that's allowed me to keep it secure in none place.Otherwise, this is the only dispensing solution I've found that works.
