This product has my full attention. I am very happy with my recent purchase of this kitchen knife sharpener tool! First let me say I love the color - it is very vibrant and fun. I used to have a generic, metal sharpener that was dull and ugly, so I really appreciate the design of this sharpener. It has a great locking mechanism, by which you can suction it to your counter top for ease of sharpening. This is simple to use and best of all...IT WORKS GREAT! My knives are sharp and in good working order now. It only took about five minutes to sharpen all of the knives in my knife block, thanks to this sharpener. The finger protector is also a nice touch. It appears to be large enough for a man's hand (see photos), as it fits well over my finger. I must say, I have tried many sharpeners in my day and this is the easiest one. It is very small and compact and light. It is easy to store in a drawer or on you counter. To use it you, use the suction cup and stick on a flat surface. The suction cup works well and never came off or failed while I used it. I sharpened several of my knives with 3-5 swipes of the blades. The knives sharpened well and cut easily into the vegetables that I was cutting. I am very impressed with the ease that I was able to sharpen my cutting knives.I also came with a little metal shield that fits and your finger and covers your finger tips/nails. This was very useful, even though you may not have a manicure to protect. It allows you to cut faster with out the fear of cutting into your fingers.
