Astonish Toilet Bowl Cleaner Removes Limescale Remover Limescale Cleaner 10 Tabs

Did not work that well at all, and I tried overnight for several nights. I bought ZEP Acidic Toilet Bowl Cleaner from Home Depot for $10 and it completely removed the limescale build-up in FIVE minutes! Get the Zep.

Item simply doesn't work. I used as directed (including letting sit overnight) and it didn't remove any rust, calcification or any build-up whatsoever. Alka Seltzer bubbles more than this. I used a stiff toilet brush multiple minutes and not a single speck was removed, not one! I could tell no difference from before to after. I tried it again the next day, same thing, a third day and same thing. Total waste of money. Only positive was the order came in a timely manner, albeit poorly packaged. I find all toilet products that claim to remove all deposits, rings etc and show an "after" picture of a white toilet are fraudulent. Every brand I try fails.

Seriously, this product is phenomenal. I have had this grey scale in my toilet for ages. I tried so many things to get rid of it - pumice, vinegar, harsh lime chemicals. Nothing worked, so I figured I had nothing to lose trying this product. I dropped two tablets in my toilet before i went to bed, and when I got up in the morning, the scale was gone! Really! Just like that, no effort, no scrubbing, just gone! I should have taken before and after photos. I would recommend this product to anyone - it's amazing!

I just drop a tablet in before bed and let it do it's thing. In the morning I brush the bowl briefly and it's easy peasy. I live in the Pacific Northwest and the water here is terrible. The buildup in my toilet bowls is ridiculous. I'm am originally from Chicago and we never had that problem. Before I found these tablets I used a pumice stone to scrub the buildup off of the toilet bowl.

I have really hard water or something. I tried 1 and it didn't help much so I used 2 tab and left em in longer. I would have used 2 the first time if I had read all the direction. You can leave this overnight, that's great. Drop 2 tabs before bed and wake up to a clean toilet. These are great for people with disabilities that affect your physical activities.These are awesome. Gonna order more. Highly recommend.

I have used this product before and was completely satisfied, but this box arrived and when I finally needed to use it the tablets were stuck to the wrapper and made it hard to open the individual tablet. When I did open it and put it in the toilet it did not bubble. It leads me to believe either they were to old or damaged . I am not happy with my purchase.

Easy to use, no doubt about it just drip it in and let it eat. I may have to use a few for the level of build up i have in my toilet but right where it sits and desolves, yes it has worked its way through that scale but as for the rest just " falling away" no its still there and staying there.

I had hard water spots that were tough to remove. I started off with one tablet overnight and didn't notice much of an effect on the hard water. It did a good job at general cleaning. I decided to follow the suggestions on the package and use two tablets overnight, and it actually worked. There are still some stubborn spots, but the toilet has never looked so good and I think using it one more time might do the trick.

I bought the Astonish Toilet Bowl Cleaner tablets because I had a badly stained toilet. I had tried everything to get rid of it. We have a water supply with a high mineral content and the toilet bowl had a layer of rust coloured calcium. It was like rock and I could not shift it. I tried one table in the bowl overnight. I did not notice any difference, quite disappointing. I was considerering returning the rest of the box. Then, as I was going away for the weekend, I decided to try two tablet in the bowl. On my return I flushed the toilet and most of the Calcium deposit just flushed away, with a little help with a toilet brush the rest of the Calcium deposit came away and now the toilet is like new, I am really really impressed! so I am one very happy customer

Having read the reviews, I used 3 tablets overnight at first. This made little difference, so the next night I used 4, and the following night I used the last 3. Out toilet was quite heavily limescaled, but the whole box of thee got rid of less than half the lime scale (worked best at the very bottom and did little on the sides).A couple of days later I bought harpic power plus active tablets from the supermarket, and using 3 of those overnight blasted all the remaining limescale so the toilet is spotless. They were also much cheaper - id recommend getting them instead

Just the job for a badly stained toilet

So disappointing. Firstly they are not tablets, they are foil sachets full of loose powder. You open them, tip the powder in and... nothing. No fizzing, no change in colour. The powder sits on the base of the toilet until you flush no matter how long you leave it. Makes no difference to the toilet, complete waste of money.

These arrived in a plastic bag, with the box folded up inside the package (see photo).So had to reassemble the box to store them.Some of the packets were open and some tablets broken.Not impressed due to what I paid!The product itself is ok. But packaging not good at all!
