Band-AidWaterproof Tape, 1/2 Inch

I use this tape mostly to wrap my fingers when they get painful cracks due to dryness and overuse.This Johnson & Johnson "Water Block" tape does not stick as well as the old "Waterproof" tape version, but its a lot better than other generic store brands that I bought when I couldn't find this brand in the stores. It seems to be almost as waterproof as the old version. I haven't used it to tape bandages or dressing and I don't think it would work well for that.For people who have commented that its hard to get the tape out of the spool when it gets low, please know that the two sides of the plastic spool can come apart by twisting and pulling apart, then the tape can be removed, just like the old version ;-)

This tape sticks!! AND, it tolerates water extremely well. Paper tape won't stick to skin that is damp or even recently was damp. Only thing I wish were different, the packaging looks cool but is decidedly awkward from a functionality perspective. But, the high quality of the product clearly overrides the difficult packaging.

I have to wear this stint for 8 weeks. This tape holds throughout a shower. Doesn’t irritate my skin and does a great job securing my stint.Took away a star because they pulled the shrink-flation thing. Tape was about 2-3mm thinner than the last roll I bought. Come on J&J, are times really that bad for your massive company?

Thank you J&J for not changing this product. It's the same quality as it has always been, there is no deceptive shrinkage in size or downgrade in material. I generally apply this tape over a Band-Aid (J&J) to protect blisters that form from running, racket sports, etc. It keeps me in the game.

Tape adhesive extremely weak falls off from skin after a few hrs. Certainly fall off in the shower as soon as got wet. Doesn't stay in place holding the gauze. It does not protecting the wound.

I stubbed my pinky toe so badly in December that I'm pretty sure it was fractured. I started taping my pinky toe to the one next to it using this tape and it helped the pain immensely. Adhesion is great and was able to stay in place all day even with constant walking during my 10 hour shifts.

I use this for golfing, any spots that rub enough to remove skin on the fingers. The only real problem is that it is shockingly difficult to rip this with just your fingers so most people will require a tool which makes this less useful.
