Fender Pure Vintage 1 Meg Solid Shaft Control Potentiometer

I have always used these in strats, but lately, I've had the worst luck with things like one was missing a resistor and my last had a broken wafer board on the bottom 250k pot! Thing is, I don't use these right away, so I find out too late to return. And, this is from various vendors, so it's a fender problem, not the seller.

Mix a 1 Mega-ohm, solid shaft potentiometer and a 1966 Fender Dual Showman? You get a big thank you from me for a wonderfully sounding amplifier.

Bought name brand fender for reliability. But in less than a month it's now scratchy . Poor quality.

Direct fender replacement

just what I was looking for

I ordered one of these and loved how smooth it was to turn but it crackles like crazy when doing swells as a tone pot. I ordered a second thinking it was just a fluke but that one did the same thing. I just tried a different alpha potentiometer and that worked great without any crackling. I recommend looking elsewhere for your potentiometer needs.
