The media could not be loaded. This works VERY well for a capstan drive on a robot. It barely stretches and quite obviously can be used for a lot of different applications. The size is correct at 2 mm and its great over all! It’s creep is very low as well.

My 100 foot spool contained a 25 foot length tied to a 75 foot length. If you need a continuous 100 foot length, you may want to order a length instead of a spool. Fortunately for me, this was right where I planned on cutting the rope. The description indicated 0.07 inches, but this rope is larger than my 0.08 inch Kevlar rope because it is more rounded and does not lie as flat when coiled. My other Kevlar is flame resistant, so it will not fuse and the diameter is too small for whipping, so it must be knotted to prevent fraying at the ends. This rope has a PET coating which can melt allowing the rope to be fused at the ends, so no knots are needed to prevent fraying. This rope is a good compact replacement for my old 1/8 inch paracord at about half the weight and equivalent strength. This rope is about 25% larger (when coiled) and heaver than my old 1/16 inch paracord, but is more than 4 times stronger.
