As all things I YouTube mutilple products before purchasing one. This unbrella has 5 settings I wasn't sure if I needed the upgraded one that had more. Unless you have some unique angle this have more than enough angles. I've only found the need to use 2 so far. Fast delivery, well packaged and easy to install with basic tools. There was no way I was going to pay 100+ for some plastic that you fill with water and sand so I found a cheaper solution for the base. 4 pavers at 5 doll hairs each. The 1st try is the pavers on top and they didn't have the depth to touch the deck while strutting the legs. No worries the 16×16 depot if all la home pavers fit like a glove and look nice. I left the 1st set on top of them until I find a better use for them and they are not needed.So the unbeella is clearly made by ninja for ninjas. You can tell its made of quality materials and all controls are very easy to operate. I just had back sugery a week ago and I'm opening them with ease, as well as could turn it if needed. Size wise it's purrrfect and I recommend measuring your space if your putting it on a deck for it was a bigger than I expected and in a good way. Insert joke here.The only things I'd like to see that would make this even better are some reasonable base weights. I mean come one were talking about molded plastic here. There should be a 40-50 solution you can add on that fits the unbrella base likea glove.An option for ordering additional color fabrics at check out would be nice too.While it does not come with a cover, you can text them and get a free one so that's nice. Only downside is that you aren't garranteed that the cover will be in the same color.While I haven't had it up in high winds I'd imagine it would be susceptible to damage if left up for strong winds. It's very easy to stow so I plan to just stowe/open it while not in use. In reality a unbrella that can withstand sting winds would be heavy AF and who's like, hey guys let's go chill out in a hurricane under the unbreala. Lol. I'm considering buying another one just to have in 5 to 10 years when this one has seen its days. If they sell the cloth part separately I'll likly just buy another and rotate them with different colors. Unless u are a ding dong and leave it open year round through all weather this little fella will work for years to come pending cover is easy to put on and off. I'll likly only use it in the winter for storage.Over all this is one bad mamerjammer unbrella. The cantilever design maximizes patio/deck space and I frickin LOVE it.Finnnaly the question you have. Do I buy this one or another. Amazon has quite a few options. For the price point and quality and general bad assness get the 5 position one and some paver and you got some ninjarific shade and rain protection for years to come. Customer service was fast and friendly when I texted for a free cover. The infinite adjustment version is a bit more $$ and I don't see a use case.Anyhow happy unbrella shopping and when you come back here after looking for hours at others 🙃 your welcome. Brap out.UPDATE: Cover came fast and was the same color so winning here. Cover looks to be heavy duty and fits well with vents. There's a small bag the cover comes in which I doubt I'll get it back in again but it was packaged nicely. I'm not sure what the collapsible pole that came with its foe and maybe I'll figure it out in time.

I ordered this umbrella for my deck to provide shade and some weather protection while grilling. It does the job nicely and looks great!The mechanism and construction are solid. It rotates smoothly through the entire 360°. It was very easy to assemble, and the accessories (weights and cover) fit perfectly. The umbrella fabric is extremely water repellent. I highly recommend the Navy colored umbrella. It looks excellent in a back yard with a lot of green.I had two issues, though.First, the umbrella isn't 100% waterproof without a modification. The seams need to be sealed. The fabric itself beads water like a duck. But in heavy rain, the seams leak a bit. This can be fixed with simple seam sealing like you would use on camping equipment, except perhaps at the Velcro seam, but I'm going to experiment. This isn't enough to knock off a star for me since it does everything else so well.But the following is why I titled the review "Customer service!" and gave it a five star review.My first umbrella was defective. It arrived with a bunch of unsightly stains on the beige fabric. They couldn't be cleaned off and truly made the product an eyesore. Also, the opening mechanism would hang up when trying to open the umbrella and I couldn't get it to open without painstakingly sorting the ribs and repeatedly jostling the assembly while cranking it open.So I wrote to customer service and provided pictures of the issue. Within a few hours, Abby H. responded to my above complaint about the defective umbrella and offered to replace it for me. I had mentioned in the original email that the beige umbrella's stains made me think I should have chosen the Navy umbrella instead. Abby apologized and said simply and plainly, without any back and forth, that she would immediately have another umbrella sent out, Navy colored if I would like, and I wouldn't have to struggle with returning it to the company due to the bulky size. I sent her back my address, and I had a perfect Navy umbrella in my hands in about a week. I quickly swapped it with the defective one (only two machine screws), and it works flawlessly!I was floored at the level of customer service. So I liked everything about this product! I’ve been using it everyday since I put it up! We just had a party with friends over this past Sunday and are having another one this coming Sunday. Eveyone loved it! Really gave the whole area a complete feeling.Was very easy to assemble. Only two different size bolts so you don’t have a million pieces to separate and the instructions were easy to follow.I was definitely happily surprised because the quality and size actually exceeded my expectations! It shades well and it’s also very easy to use. I’ve noticed while searching for the right umbrella that some are a little complicated but this one anyone can do it!So far I’ve left it open maybe like 2 nights and one time during the day it was pretty windy and it held up fine. I got the base that they recommended with it and that was a solid buy as well. Don’t ever have to worry about it falling because the base is heavy( I filled and each piece with just water) and wide. Plus the base actually adds to the look as well I would say!Overall I would say that it’s sturdy, looks more expensive than it is, was easy to assemble, creates a wide sun protection “surface area” and adds that needed ambience feeling!
