BellemainStainless Steel Fine Mesh Strainers, Set of 3 Graduated Sizes with Comfortable Non Slip Handles

I was going to order a well-known brand of these, but they had some bad reviews re sturdiness and quality control. I decided to get these instead for two reasons: The handles on the two larger ones have rivets for added strength, and I like the heat-resistant handles. So far they have been washed in the dishwasher and came through great; the package states they are dishwasher safe. I don't anticipate any problems with them but I haven't had them long enough to rate durability. They came nicely packaged so they would be suitable for gifting. I'm very pleased with them so far.I'll use the largest one for sifting flour or perhaps for rinsing larger quantities of rice before cooking it, the medium sized one for rinsing rice, and the smallest one for sifting powdered sugar or cocoa on top of desserts, or as a tea strainer. I have colanders which are better suited for draining pasta or rinsing berries or grapes. Cooked pasta is heavy and voluminous so it's best strained in a colander anyway.

These are perfect for draining grease out of your skillet. Great quality as well.

I've had the same mesh strainer since probable the 90's, so when it finally bit the dust, I just bought this because it was cheap and looked nice. I wasn't expecting it to be so high quality nor how it makes my kitchen look slightly nicer with it hanging on the wall compared to my old strainer. Truth be told, I only was interested in the largest of the three, but all three strainers have newfound purposes throughout my cooking, now, and I'm unsure how I managed before them!
