Delirious and dark
This book is refreshing, compelling and toxic. It was dark and magical too. It kept me on edge on how certain things did take place and there is a vast discursivity by the fanbase as to whether the the writer was schizophrenic or had magical capabilities she wasn't aware of. I finished this book in a day. A complete devour. A must read, a commendable book by Mona Awas which I might have been late to!

Satire- which is an attack on the rich, preppy school girls.
If you notice, most of the reviews about this book- whether it be a 1 star review or a 5 star review, they'll say the same thing- they don't know how to describe this book. Which is really apt for it. I'll try my best though. This book is a satire about female friendship and definitely is a attack on the preppy, rich school girls which is honestly so funny, along with which it's a creepy, cult fiction. The imagery is very distinct. Like imagine if you combine Barbie with Final Destination. It's gore but with bright, rainbow kind background. The paradox in this book is amazing. The narrator- Samantha, on the other hand seems unreliable when it comes to explaining everything. Our main character here is one delusional, sociopathic person or more like just an angry, lonely teen of the female species. At first the way she decribes the "Bunnies" as individual and a group, she seems angry and like she hates them. Later we know her point of view on them was just because of jealousy and her relationship with Ava that also affected it.With the start of part 2 we see the narrator has officially become a Bunny herself. Which makes the book more creepier. The cultness (if that's even a word) enhances 10 fold because the narrator has lost all sense of identity. It's like all of the "bunnies" are together just one entity.By the end of part 2 I thought I knew what was going on but honestly part 3 changes everything about this book. A whole other thing comes to light and we actually get to know what is up with all these weirdos. But I would say I was disappointed by the ending. That could've been better. Overall a very unique and gross but funny story.

Good Condition but didn't really like the story.
Get it from cocoblu if you're concerned about originality of the book. Although I read reviews making so much of this book, that it was so profound and disturbing. It wasn't disturbing, and maybe I didn't read it in a better manner I didn't find it profound either, it's boring overall. I left it about 2/3rd towards the end, I just couldn't continue reading it. If you're into books that are monotonous where something is happening but you don't know what it is and you like being detective of a reader, trying to find meaning every other moment then go for it. I'll give it another read after a year or two to see if my mind changes but this is it as of now.

I have no idea what I just read.I am not saying this in a good way.I wanted to DNF this book so badly. I honestly don't know why I pushed myself so hard to finish this book. Maybe I was waiting for it just makes sense for once?Usually, I am a very visual person. I don't have any difficulties visualizing the text, and getting myself lost in whatever world I am currently reading. But with this one, half the time I did not understand what was happening in the book, let alone visualize it. ๐๐ I don't know if it's the problem with the writing style or me not being able to understand it.There is no rhyme or reason to why and how for anything that's happening in this book. The story did not go as I hoped it would.I liked the first part, I thought it was very interesting and I was excited to see what would happen next. But then I completely lost interest. I don't mind the slow burn as long as we get answers to how things are happening which I did not get in this book. I don't mind an open ending, but this one is too open and I ended up having more questions than I have at the beginning. Also one more thing, I am not a big fan of the protagonist. I find her too uptight and dumb. She thinks of herself as superior to others, but I don't see why. For most of the book, we are inside her head, she is constantly imagining things and imagines having conversations with others which did not help me enjoy this book. This also makes us wonder if Samantha is a reliable narrator. Also, a few phrases used in this book is so bizarre, for example, "gynecological hand gestures", "A pause so pregnant it delivers, consumes its own spawn" what does that even mean? Someone, please explain to me if you know.Usually, I try to end negative reviews on a positive note, but I don't know how to do that with this one. I guess the review ends here.

Too convoluted, even in places where it isn't required
Found the plot a little too convoluted for my liking.

Delightfully weird
Sooo thrilling Bunny! This book was a ride from the start to finish. I'll have to give Mona Awad props for everything, but mostly- her writing. The prose was engaging, visceral, and abundant with oddly fitting metaphors. I absolutely devoured this, I read it over a span of two days..... in the middle of my exams.
