There is no background to the decal, but the surface applied to (This is not a solid or tinted sun strip). The decal is approximately 40" wide x 4" in height which is a fairly universal fit for most vehicles and can be applied on your windshield, rear window, tailgate, doors etc.. Your car and the one pictured are different so please check your vehicle measurements prior to purchase for proper scaling. The dimensions will be linear to the 40" x 4" measurement, no curvature is added to keep our products universal. Longer decals are best applied with the "center hinge method" to compensate both sides evenly as possible. We use Orafol/Oracal 651 material which is rated for up to 6 years outdoor use!
