I've bought this brand of shake mix many times throughout the years and though I've tried other brands, I tend to come back to Spiru-tein. Most of the time I pick up the individual shake mix packets at a health food store to sample the various flavors. Chocolate is one of the better ones in my opinion. This shakes mix tastes like a health food protein shake and not like a sweet, rich chocolate milkshake, but it's still pretty good. Even when I use a blender bottle and not an actual blender to make the shake, it mixes well and isn't clumpy or grainy. I like the fact that it's just sweet enough without being too sweet. The chocolate flavor is just right too. One scoop contains only 7 grams of sugar, 14g of protein and with 1 cup of skim milk it's only 176 calories. I bought this shake to get additional protein and calcium without adding lots of excess calories or fat to my diet, so this works for me. The consistency of the shake can vary based on what you mix it with. I found it to be thinner with almond milk and thicker with regular milk and coconut milk. About average with soy milk. If you put it the blender with a couple ice cubes, it's thicker and has a creamier taste. If you add more than a couple ice cubes, it can get too thick to blend.

It's not the original but many products are not original today but some are improved. I'm glad to see it is back to "almost" the original. I used Spirutein for many years and very much enjoyed the flavor and the results. It has great nutrients that help keep the body healthy and assist with weight loss or weight maintenance. I felt great when taking it. It curbed my appetite and gave me great "natural" energy and assisted with digestion and many other things. Best of all, it felt like drinking a chocolate milk shake - my favorite. Of course nothing healthy will taste like the real shake you get at an ice cream shop, but some people add fruits and things to make it taste like it. I prefer to take it straight with a cup of 2% milk for less caloric content. And I didn’t worry about getting my nutrients while watching the calories! Then in about 2015 or so it seemed the product kept changing and not for the better. At first I thought it was spoiled! I couldn't even stand to drink it and after many failed pleas to return to the original, I stopped using it and buying it. After reading some current reviews that the taste was great again, I decided to give it another try and am very happy to see it has much improved. As I wrote, I don't know if it could ever go back to the "original" but it is satisfying and I am already feeling the benefits in just a few days. I sometimes like to divide it in 1/2 scoop and take it twice a day depending on the type of day. It is a great breakfast or before or after workout. I don't buy the other flavors so can't vouch for them. Thanks Spirutein.

I used this product years ago and for some reason could no longer find it at GNC. I gave up trying to find it until I discovered it on Amazon. It is a great supplement and I put it in my Vitamix blender with a banana and milk every morning. I have already ordered more and would recommend.

This one is better tasting then the chocolate, even though it still gets a slight green hue due to some of the ingredients when mixing. I don’t think it is very sweet and as someone who is insanely sensitive to ANY chemical smells (bleach/Chlorine/etc) or taste (chalky after tastes of 90% of the protein shakes out there, after a few dozen this is literally the only brand I can stomach, it’s no Julius, or juice bar Meal replacement. But it is cheap! Not 8$ a cup and offers more) WelI I or my fiancé didn’t notice it anything intolerable, Or unappetizing with this product.To give a better idea.. i have a very weak stomach, gag at the word mucus, see someone sneeze.. forget it.. I lose my lunch.So no this does not have a mucus texture. Submersion blender or hand.I can’t drink fat free creamer in coffee with sugar added, chocolate syrups, whipped cream etc, without gagging to it’s chemical. Nothing covers that taste for me.So if your worried about *that* chemical taste. It doesn’t exsist here. This is a great product, It is very thick, which is fine if you don’t like it very thick just add more milk or water..I did notice the scoop cup is actually a bit bigger in this one then the others in the smaller containers, so you can use a bit less powder to have it thinner without increasing your dairy intake. About a teaspoon less.I wanted to correct some of the bad reviews here that made me delay ordering this flavor due to the price, but I am glad I did finally order.This does not have that nasty chalky whey mult Taste.. so if you can’t stand that taste then you found your product.Now if only.. I can order essential oils without someone screaming turpentine at every brand on the market..

This product does not mix well, clumps. Have not experienced this until recently.

Il pacco e arrivato nei tempi minimi indicati e il prodotto è conforme all'ordine, integratore usato da una persona che non non tollera il latte e i suoi derivati e non ha problemi con questo prodotto a base di proteine vegetali.

Se podría mejorar el sabor, los he probamos mas ricos
