Didnt work more than a couple of hours... smells terrible and start producing sparkles as soon as you plug it in. Got pretty hot and smells as if it was having short cuts. A BIG NO.... dont know why this is an amazon choice. Do not buy

Don’t waste your money. A week into having it and the fan inside the box is broken. It heats up like crazy and has burnt some of my blankets and melted a magazine from being so hot. It makes a weird clicking sound and the box keeps expanding to try to release the heat from inside and soon it’s gonna crack. The charge is slow and doesn’t last very long. This is probably a fire hazard.

This item was a quick fix to a need, but the charging box overheats. BEWARE it will burn you. BE CAREFUL.

It charges fine, but it’s burning hot. My daughter was using it and I removed it from her room because I could not even touch it after being plugged in for a few hours. I do not understand how this is Amazon’s choice. I’ll be contacting Amazon about it because someone is going to burn their house down using this. Very unsafe.

I have purchased three of these over the last year (for different places around the house, travel, etc.). The original OEM actually died on me before these did. They work great. Would like a longer cord, but that was an issue with the original as well. These look nearly identical to the OEM.

Our 2012 MacBook Air runs great. Mac's last forever. But the power cords do not. After another supply got chewed on by a puppy or mangled by a floor cleaner - we need a new one. For $17 this 45W power adapter does the job. Our only problem is that the supply part must plug directly into the outlet. So we use an extension cord when needed.Overall a great purchase. Just what we needed and a great value.

Worked for my MacBook Air. My old charger stopped working and I couldn’t get my laptop to turn on, after I plugged this one in it instantly turned on. I bought the extension piece along with it to make it longer. I didn’t have an issue with the box getting hot, I left it plugged in for over an hour and it was sitting on the carpet, it was barely warm when I picked it up.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My original laptop charger had a cut in the cord and the wires were coming out and beginning to fray and so needed to replace it. I found this charger for sale and was very pleased to see how inexpensive it was compared to the brand name replacement. I felt it was safe to try it out because of the easy return policy if it didn't work. I received my new cord and was glad to see it looks 99.9% like my original charger. It works exactly as it should. I would HIGHLY recommend you purchase this charger.
