Decent dark roast
Colombian beans. Purchased in May 2023, the beans have a 'use by' date of February 2025. There is the merest whiff of cardamom coming off these beans in the packet and this carries through into the finished brew (a reviewer of the same company's Roma blend mentions the 'v strange' smell of the beans). The company produces blends that feature cardamom as an added ingredient and presumably the same warehouse and production lines are used. I quite like it - it adds character - but if you're not a fan of the spice beware, though I must stress it is very faint. I bought this coffee as a pre-ground Turkish grind a while back (which I liked enough to purchase this whole kilo of beans) and don't recall tasting cardamom in that so perhaps it's variable. Used to make Turkish and Aeropress coffee, I'm not normally a fan of Colombian coffee but I would buy this again. Good hazelnut-coloured foam (if you're into your foam) when making Turkish. Metallic package folds down and clips easily for storage.

Only ok, beans smell v weird
The beams smell v strange before use, the coffee is fine but not as strong as I would like it, have to use three shots for a satisfactory cup

Hipster Turkish Coffee?
Not for me. Even at £10 a kilo. Until then gave a colleague a whiff I didn’t know what was going on… but Turkish coffee with hipster sensibilities sums it up well. Not a dark roast in the way I’d describe it. Features an amusing typo on the packaging also.

It might be for you, worth a try
Caught this on a deal and it's pretty decent.Quality wise it's grand and was fresh enough. It's a bit darker roasted than tend I like and doesn't do too well with longer pours. It did produce a good crema and since I got through a kilogram in two weeks I'd say it's pretty decent overall. Not a favourite but good and certainly worth a try, especially if it's on a deal.

Good strong coffee
Good strong coffee for a reasonable price. Used for bean to cup with nice strong flavor for milk based coffees. Couldn’t find date of roasting on the package but I presume its a few months back. Good value for money for non commercial coffee.

Pretty good coffee
Pretty good if you like a bit more bitter coffee. Slighly more roasted than regular beans. I would definitely recommend that one ;)

Great value and flavour
Great value for money, good crema and body. It definitely seemed a lot fresher than many you can get through Amazon. Flavour is strong although it states medium. Can be bitter as an espresso but good with milk. I've enjoyed drinking this coffee.

Good value, but a bit too roasted for me.
The coffee beans have a shiny visual appearance, they're definitely a dark roast. I found the flavour overwhelming personally. Good value for money, if you're a fan of dark roast coffee beans.
