Our 56-870 comfort indicator cig plug is compatible with many CTEK chargers and can be used to charge your battery through your vehicles power socket. Your charger still requires AC power to function when using this accessory.

What is it - what does it do ???

Like a battery charger but it operated over long periods of time such as when you go on a longer vacation like >2 wks. Modern cars kill their batteries just sitting in the garage. This gizmo will keep it healthy without over charging. Higher tech than a charger. Works beautifully on my Porsche 911.

Does it work with jeep gladiator ?

Works with a CTek charger and will work with any battery regardless of make.

Is it ok to leave plug in when car is running ?

Yes, it is okay to leave this part (56-870) plugged in. Doing so will give you and indication of the charge currently on your battery.
