You would get better results using Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Cleaner - the pourable version. It’s designed for furniture. Will take out tons of scratches. Smells like almonds. Once you’ve used that, can maintain with the spray or wipes, which are convenient.

Q: Should you use more than one coat on older hardwood floors?

Absolutely!!! The bottle has instructions on it how long to wait between coats & replacing rugs/furniture. I had one section of floor high traffic that requires multiple coats.
