It's not just for him.
My husband bought this to clean his air brush. I used it on my jewelry and WOW, what a good job it did. We're both happy.

Glasses are sparkling clean
I have had so many problems getting my prescription glasses clean with sprays and wipes etc. I was told if I used one of these machines it might damage the lens coating. But I read reviews saying it was not a problem so I decided to try it. I only use it twice a week and not only do the lenses come out clean but so do the frames. I love it and so far my lenses are fine.

Item will break under normal use and company will NOT honor its warranty
I am not someone who is incline to leave positive or negative reviews. However, I wanted to write this review to make sure that anyone else considering purchasing items from iSonic understands that the company will not honor its warranty if your item breaks. In my case, I purchased this unit in D3000 in March 2020 to clean my nighttime retainers. Based on the fact that I wear my retainer only during the evening, I normally put them in the cleaner in the morning and run it for one or two cycles. Despite using the unit as intended, after six months the unit broke. Specifically, it started smoking during use and smelled as if it was burning inside (always a good sign).I then reached out to the company for a warranty repair, iSonic then required me to send the unit at my cost for them to repair. At this point, I should have just cut my losses and walked away, but instead I opted to at my expense send my broken unit to iSonic. Despite receiving my repair unit on September 25, 2020, iSonic did not contact me about the unit or if anything would happen. After a month of radio silence, I reached out iSonic who only then responded by saying that they would not be repairing my unit because the transducer in the unit was burned out (no duh, considering the smoking and burning smell) and that this could only be caused by my misused rather then their product's spontaneous failure. Based on their refusal to honor their own warranty, the Company then went on to offer me as a favor the ability to buy a new unit from them along with a cleaning solution. They further offered out of the goodness of their heart to cover the cost of shipping these items out to me.Quite frankly, I have never dealt with such a callous and unprofessional company. It is insulting that after they refuse to honor their warranty, they expect me to give them even more money so that they can do me the favor of selling me another likely faulty product.Maybe I will update this review if the company turns a new leaf, but I can't imagine the company doing that at this point. With that all being said, if you plan to buy this item or any other product from iSonic treat them as disposable garbage, because if they break you will not be getting any support and do not expect this company to honor its own warranty.

Awesome for stripping paint from miniatures!
Great as an aid for getting acrylic paint off of miniatures and hobby tools. I usually would soak the figures for a couple days in Simple green and then have to scrub them a lot with a tooth brush to get off only some of the paint. This really helps loosen up the paint and makes it so much easier to scrub off with a brush. Only annoying thing is that this one has an auto turn off after 3 minutes. I just let the figures soak and turn this on whenever I walk by. After a few hours of soaking (and running this maybe 5 or 6 cycles) the paint comes right off with minimal effort. A huge time saver and has let me re-paint a lot of figures I wasn't happy with. For the money you can't go wrong.

Convenient
Overall I'd have to say I am very happy to have made this purchase. Having an ultrasonic cleaner is just better than not having one. When it got here I immediately used it on glasses, jewelry, and even my Invisalign (I changed the water in between, don't be gross). It even worked wonders on my vapes tank. Sometimes you can get some pretty nasty goo built up in those but after running it through this and drying it, it looked brand new!The only reason I am not going with 5 stars for this is the controls. Essentially you have a few different chunks of time that you can run it for and you have an on and off button. Just seems that in this day and age when I have about 12 options on a digital screen to make my morning cup of coffee...they could have made this a little more dynamic.Oh and also the fact that I can just grab the vessel and carry it to the sink, leaving the base with the electronics still plugged in is very nice.

Great when it works, not so much anymore.
The few times I have used it in the last year, it worked great! All of my jewelry came out sparkling and beautiful. I went to go use it last night to clean all my jewelry, a week before my wedding and it won't turn on. I've tried different outlets and still nothing. It's over a year, which means no more warranty. I hate that it just stopped working and wish I at least got a few more uses out of it.

Great for Resin Prints
Got this to clean prints from my resin 3D printer. It does a great job cleaning them! No more scrubbing with a toothbrush and no more white residue when cured but not cleaned quite enough. Much better than an expensive wash and cure station.Just don't use IPA in the cleaner - use water (for water soluble resins) or Simple Green (for others). This cleaner heats things up and using IPA might be a fire hazard.
