It's pretty good for oil stain on a deck. You will get some flyers and lost hairs
This is not a high quality brush, But it's also about 1/4 the price. It's not garbage either. I just did a reasonably sized deck with some fairly thin oil It did the job quite well and holds a decent amount of oil. You are going to be shedding bristles pretty regularly. I was using a wipe off excess type of stain so that did not matter. but if you were using something the bristles could get stuck in that would be a big pain. I did clean the brush out as I had a bunch of dirty thinner. If I did not have a paint can half full of dirty thinner I probably would have left it in the driveway to dry out (Don't leave anything with an oil based stain lying around, it can catch on fire all by itself) because the cost and hassle of cleaning it would not be worth it.

Best Polyurethane Brush
I used it on my floors. There was absolutely no lines, no bristles, or sticks on the floor after I polyurethane them. I love that I could attach my broom handle and never sit on the floor. This brush is a must have.

Solid brush no shedding
Great bristle brush โ got the job done quick with a 5-inch wide head. Bristles stayed firmly in place, no falling off even after repeated use. Dense enough to apply and buff polish evenly and efficiently.

Alleviateโs back issues
Nice paintbrush, that screws onto a pole. Great for people with back issues. Use this on a pole for painting between the boards on my deck. Worked great. Would recommend.

Not bad for a large $10 brush.
We use these to stain fences with water based stains and they work great. I wouldnโt use them or oil. We use better bristle ones for oil with tighter bristles to hold the oil better. They would be better if they had more bristles but they are only $10. They fall apart every once in a while where the bristles will fall off the brush handle. Easy to fix by putting bristles back in and hammering the metal down tightening it around the bristles. They arenโt bad for $10. Ive purchased about 100 of them. They get the job done. Not quite as good as the $18 ones at Home Depot but they arenโt $18 either. We use them to paint with on occasion and they work well enough to get the job done. Like I said, more bristles would be better but theyโre cheap.

Fits in a 1 gallon paint can, applies paint well to smooth or rough surfaces.
This worked perfectly for painting a 12X30 OSB floor. Normally I would just use a roller, but the paint and later polyurethane manufacturers recommended a brush. No way was I willing to paint the entire floor with a medium size short handle brush. I screwed in a long handle and applied paint like I was sweeping the floor. The width (5") fits into a 1 gallon paint can without messing up the bristles (if you're careful). It survived applying four coats, and is still in good condition after cleaning.

Great brush for staining decks plus screw handle even better, no bending over. Will buy again future decks.
