The strut tower bar is arguably one of the least expensive upgrades that can provide a very high degree of benefit that is felt immediately after installing. Often one of the first modifications performed on a vehicle, the strut tower brace improves handling and stability of a vehicle. The Sustec Tower Bar has been very popular due to its low price and high functionality. By connecting the strut towers, and creating a balance, the shocks are prevented from independently moving and causing small changes in suspension geometry.

Fits great on an 01 Spyder
*I removed my frunk plastics ages ago so I can't comment on fitment or cutting that.Honestly a great addition to an 01 stock spyder, self explanatory installation, wish there was any semblance of torque specs for the bar itself. Vastly improoved handling and response, honestly wish I brought it sooner. Make sure to jack the car up so both wheels are off the ground and then bolt the bar on.

this is a pretty good strut bar
For the price, this is a pretty good strut bar. It definitely delivers some noticeable benefits in cornering over rough roads. On smooth surfaces, steering is a smidgen crisper and quicker. It's a good value, and I can't complain, but I will eventually budget for a beefier strut bar. Also, instructions for correct installation were nowhere to be found - not in the package, not on the manufacturer's website, no authoritative instructions anywhere on the Internet. Considering that this bar is adjustable, some guidelines for correct tuning would be helpful. I'd say this bar is not a "magic bullet" by itself, but a good component in an overall chassis strategy.

mr2 spyder front strut brace
Great addition to my spyder. It handles great and if u thought it was a go cart before lookout! This makes the front much tighter. U do partially cut the lid and 2 small holes on the sides where the plastic cover covers the bar extrusions. Overall amazing. Get it!

Great looking tower bar
Great looking tower bar. Unfortunately the only papaerwork that came with the units was a joke and appeared to be wriiten by a lawyer. I will not purchase anything else from Tanabe.
