So, this thing is overkill for me, but it was much easier to learn how to use than I expected, and had fun with it almost right out of the box. The accessories are good, I would recommend picking up a small bag/pouch that is easy to carry around for your findings as well. Pleased with the purchase.

Excited to get this machine.....BUTPurchased as NEW. Obviously was a return. Coil is scratched and dirty, pinpointer is dirty (mud). I know its a metal detector, and will get some wear and tear in the field. I was just assuming it would be me to do it...lol. I plan on trying the unit. But if there is ANY problem it will be returned soon.

Works great easy to use. Comes with everything you need to start. Shipping was very fast.

No instruction manual or pin to attach the head. Tried customer support but cannot actually enter a phone number for them to "call me".

Did not receive what is advertised, NO pinpointer or hand shovel was included. I will be returning this item.

This thing doesn't differentiate between any material. All iron, silver, gold, and other materials all make the same beep. It doesn't work at all. I've went through the settings a few times, repeating different steps. My detector from the 90's was better formatted to separate different metals.I bench tested the materials, pennies, dimes, quarters. I'm trying to find a solid silver engagement ring. I placed a few pieces of jewelry down on the ground where I was scanning. The thing didn't pic them up most of the time. I had to turn the sensitivity all the way up. Which is nonsense, because the jewelry is on the surface of the grass.I'm returning this thing. It literally doesn't work.

The Garrett At Pro is a great quality, easy to use, metal detector. Mine is used for a number of tasks,including searching for coins, old homesite, lost items and property boundaries.
