Q: Is there a trick to separating the mask from the backing? In the images the masks are clear, so the white paper should be removed.

Hi there, Once you tear open the sachet, you should find a slim plastic covering that is holding the lip gels and the white backer. You should be able to open the plastic similar to opening a small notebook. Once open, simply use a finger tip to gently remove the lip gels from the white backing.
