Pretty well-balanced in the hand, knife cuts well, and they're pretty sturdy ... you can scoop ice cream with the tablespoon without it bending. I like it.

My only complaint about these is that I feel they are a little on the large side. But as that's more a personal preference, I didn't take stars off for it. But I wanted to note it for anyone who prefers their silverware on the smaller side. They have a nice weight. They feel substantial and sturdy, but not overly heavy. I've put them through the dishwasher and had no issues with rust, like I've seen with other silverware. The design is attractive, but not too ornate for everyday use. I'd definitely give them to someone as a gift! All in all, I recommend them!
