WOW! These are amazing. I never write reviews for feminine hygiene products because it's mostly you get what you pay for at expected acceptable quality or less... But this product I ordered on a whim one day totally deserves this review. I've never seen a better, thicker and high quality soft pad ever! It's larger and better than even maternity pads they hand out at the hospital after childbirth. I have never felt truly leak free safe even with other products that didn't quite leak... But still left me enough impression that if I'm not hyperactively thinking about every next time I need to change it it'll leak etc.. BUT NOT THIS ONE! I feel comfortable going to bed overnight and knowing I don't need to wear some crappy raggedy nightgown or PJs... Because these aren't going to leak. If you have heavy periods that are so heavy it's almost like a hemorrhage for a day or 2 out of every month, you're still safe with these. They are immensely comfortable considering this is a huge pad. It's really soft. Not scratchy. Doesn't feel plastic-y like a lot of other pads now feel and look like such as amazon brand or always, etc. And also, it sticks better than any other pad or liner I've ever tried. It actually sticks and sticks hard and it's not going to travel or move where you don't want it AND for extra security, in addition to the sticky strip on the very bottom all pads have... This one has the typical sticky for wings you peel on top, ANDDD an extra sticky section towards the end of it so that "heavy" protection is that much more ingrained and secure at the back side. It's amazing. It's so long you don't have to be articulating to yourself and pondering how far up or down your panties to start taping it to ... You can literally tape it 3 inches or more towards the front where you likely won't even bleed... And STILL have insane protection going towards your back side that is more than enough. I am so impressed. I'll never buy another brand extra heavy for the super bad period day(s) of the month... This product exceeds in not only quality but in application. And trust me, the only way you would ever leak thru this one is if you literally are bleeding to death and should probably see a doctor. That's how good this is. Buy it. You won't regret it. I have been subscribed to this product (the heavy overnight version) for years now, and are the ever lifesavers! Or at least 'sheet savers'. I have endometriosis and all its associated comorbidities, even potentially adenomyosis according to some imaging but we don't know and I refuse to have a hysterectomy unless its critical. Suffice it to say, I have extraordinary menstrual cycles. Very heavy, prolonged, frequent, very painful... it is what it is. But I used to have to basically build a diaper at night...well, honestly I still do, but more on that in a minute. With these sanitary napkins I only need 2 each night thru the worst flow (yes, 2. No joke, these people saying its only a few tablespoons of fluid each month are not talking to us endo/fibroid gals). I also have to use these for the first 3 days every cycle. I go thru a lot of these. Again, it is what it is. I am not reviewing this to gripe about my uterine lot in life, I swear. Just... if there are any other ladies out there with extraordinary flow, clots, and the rest, these are the only pads I have ever found that guarantee I will not have an incident. You must try them. The other important thing to note is that I have ridiculously sensitive skin (of course I do. I lost the reproductive lottery for sure). For many years I bought whatever brand was available, had wings, and preferably was on sale. But I contantly had issues with rashes and inflamation. Because I have to restrict air flow for so long every few weeks, its been a problem for all my adult life. Well, Kotex, the brand, has somehow managed to do something right with their products, because about 10 years ago I discovered their Naturals line (or some such name) and I never had another issue with rashes. Not even once! Then they dropped that product line 😭and came out with 'U' I even wrote the company to beg them not to do it. Well, they did it anyway, but I am happy to report that the U brand carried on whatever hypoallergenic stuff they had been doing, so to this day I have had zero issues with sensitive skin during my cycle. Thank you Kotex!!! Needless to say, I am a 100% Kotex devotee at this point. I will never buy any other brand's products unless Kotex changes for the worse. These are just my experiences, based on 30+ years of menstruating with Endo, IC, PCOS, eczema, and other hassles like anemia and migraine. You learn to make unavoidable unpleasantries like menstruation as easy as possible, lemme tell ya. I have a sub for this product and will until menopause. Period (no pun intended 😆). If you have issues at night or with overflow within a few hours, large clots, etc, of course talk with your doctor. Thats always step number one. But you still need help at home every month. Try these. They are big, but not uncomfortable. In fact, they are comforting, if you know what I mean.

This product is a life saver when it comes to heavy flow! I used to use the regular long wear pads but this one is just way better. It is bulky, soft, and comfortable for those long heavy nights. I usually use this product when I’m on my first day so I hardly use all of the pads therefore I’m saving a ton of money just by using these once it’s twice every month! I don’t have any issues with leakage either so I can sleep comfortably without worrying about staining and rushing to the bathroom.

My whole life I have used Always pads, but I decided to try these since they were supposed to have fewer chemicals and my flow is way too heavy for any of the more natural period product options. My first period with them was fine, getting adjusted to them was a bit of a thing since they are SO THICK, but they worked and I appreciated the vastly superior back coverage and adhesive (so extensive it needs two pieces of paper to peel back). But that’s not why I’m leaving a review. People who menstruate, I have a VERY heavy flow and I accidentally wore this pad for 12 hours on DAY TWO of my period. If you know, you know. When I woke up and freaked out, I was very surprised and pleased to find that not only were my sweatpants free of blood, but the entirety of my underwear. No side leaks, no leaks up the back, no leaks from where it bled through the bottom of the plastic. Make no mistake, it was totally full. If this was my usual Always overnight (purple, not orange), I would be doing laundry in the tub. Maybe even cleaning a spot on the couch. Thank you, Kotex! The only drawback is how thick these are, which maybe an adjustment if you use super thin pads now. And honestly hiding them in your purse will be next to impossible. But the adhesion and sheer absorbency of these pads is so worth it.

Love them, but it says two but only one came! Update: the pads are good, but I had a terrible experience today. My flow is not too heavy, but OMG the pad was stuck in my undies, hard to remove, and when finally I was able to remove it almost all the pad came out with blood! Im freaking out because I still had some pad with blood hard to remove.... This is the first time it happened, been with menstrual cycle 4 days and started using them this cycle... Idk how I feel about them now!

Am I heterosexual male. While i in , the hospital they put me in feminine panties. They were all cotton and breathable. I get rashes around my legs and my privates all the time from my boxers. Those were so comfortable and didn’t cause me to have any rashes and we’re quite flexible now I am in a rehab center and I discussed this with some of the nurses and the aides and they thought it would be totally appropriate for me to wear these for comfort, breathability etc. these panties that I bought, for this reason are so comfortable that I’m returning my four pairs of boxers, and I will wear these for the rest of my life. I hope other men with similar problems will consider wearing the same thing and be comfortable instead of being always having a rash and itching. I’m also wearing U Kotex maxi pads because I have a incontinence problem and the nurse thought that would be a good idea to get the ones with wings so they would stay in place and they were long enough and absorbed enough to handle my leakage problems. Because the traditional men’s incontinence pads and briefs are very uncomfortable and cause rashes all the time. They were also the most absorbent and comfortable ones rated on Amazon. I’m very glad I bought both of them and I will continue to do so. By the way, my occupational therapist , a female by the way said it would be a good idea for me to make this statement because a lot of men could benefit from wearing these items too. Ps This is the same review that I posted with the panties that I got today.

Perfect for those with very heavy cycles. Very happy that someone understands that there are women for whom regular pads just don’t cut it. These are so absorbent and the size has amazing coverage. Please don’t change or discontinue these in lieu of some thinner or smaller product.
