A timeless classic
LA Noire, for me at least, is a very underrated game and a breath of fresh air from Rockstar Games

I bought the game even though I knew the PC ...
I bought the game even though I knew the PC version has many bugs. However after searching the web and installing the latest patches for Social Club and the game itself, I got the game to launch.Adding the "-npd -str -nonv" command line options to the launcher helps to make the game run more smoothly. Some in-game bugs still occur (e.g. character falling through the ground), but overall it's worth its price.Quick shipment and delivery.

Beautiful Game for PC!
This game is beautiful. I was skeptical when I saw it on sale for less than $9 with reviews saying the graphics were horrible, but I gave it a try. I downloaded the latest patch and turned all the visual settings to max and it performs great! I can definitely see similarities to GTA-4 and GTA-V, seems like they were trying out some in between ideas with this one. That being said, gameplay is very different. I noticed that the proportions of the streets and buildings appear to be much more accurate, along with street congestion and computer AI's. The controls are different as well, I'm still getting used to them coming from GTA, make sure you look at them before playing. If you love detective stories or are good at reading emotions then you will like this game (I think this may be the first game that I have played that may make me better at interacting with people). My rig:OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bitCPU: Intel i7-4770KGPU: NVIDIA GTX-760 4GBRAM: 32GB DDR3 1600MHzControls: XBOX 360 Joypad (& PS4 Joypad)Looking back at the bad reviews it appears that those who included their rig specifications seemed to have sub-par specs (a couple I saw had decent hardware specs but awful GPUs, another even had an intel atom processor... WTF, no wonder the game lagged for them). It could have also been that they hadn't installed the patch, either way I see nothing wrong with the game in my rig. I do realise that my rig is much higher spec'd than most so I will say this: Based off of my rig's performance you should be able to play this game fine with an i3-4150 or higher processor, GTX-750 2GB or higher graphics card (GPU is the most important part of gaming), and 8GB ram or higher. I wouldn't go lower than that as 2015 is around the corner and anything less than this is already outdated. Could build it all for less than $600 (without settling for AMD).

no dice for me either
i guess i'm another one of the unlucky ones. first installed on my mac (8gb i7 2.7ghz) using parallels, but it said my video card wasnt good enough (intel hd 3000 512mb). then i installed on my Vista computer (8gb core2quad 2.33/2.34ghz) and i just kept having patch issues. i tried a few different fixes from their support site, but nothing quite lined up with their steps, so after a few attempts at fixing it and UN- and RE-installing, i'm pretty sure it's broke now.finally i tried my work computer (HAH!) and it wouldnt even launch. i dont have the specs for that computer but i'm pretty sure the video card wasnt built for gaming.oh and i guess i should mention that i bought the disc version. too bad you can't return it once you've opened it. i might have tried playing it over OnLive. kinda curious about all that cloud business...
