You can stack these on top of each other
I needed a narrow shoe rack with plenty of room for shoes and this did the job perfectly. I bought two and stacked one on top of the other.

Awesome shoe racks!
I ordered three of these little units to reorganize my home which I am reclaiming from a cat that has been ill. I wasn’t sure exactly what configurations I was going to use, but I like the stackable and extendable options. My basic plan was to fit two for beneath the jackets on the hanging rod in my laundry room (low enough at 19” to be below the majority of my jackets and to hold most of my shoes with 4” to spare length wise on the wall) and a third one to be with placement to be determined, either stacked in laundry room or put behind my wood stove (in whatever shelf configuration worked to hold two pairs of “back yard” shoes and assorted wood stove “fixings”).All three went together very easily. Open the frame and attach shelves and feet and they’re pretty much ready to go. They seem quite sturdy and stable (though one does wobble due to my uneven floor) and they hold way more than advertised, especially if you have super small women’s feet (bonus for me!). I looked a ton of shoe racks and settled on these mainly because there is zero plastic involved in the shelves themselves (the feet only have plastic discs on them). Also, because the shelves are mesh, so no worry that heeled shoes won’t stay where I want them, and they allow for plenty of air circualtion. On the first unit using the typical three shelf configuration, I was able to fit four pairs of flats under the first shelf, three pairs of wedges and my favorite flats on the bottom shelf, and four pairs of heels on the middle shelf. All fit perfectly! There is room depth wise, so I’d guess men’s shoes would have no issue fitting either. The top shelf doesn’t even have shoes on it and is currently holding five overflow rolls of paper towels and a basket of DIY cleaning products. The second unit is sitting right next to the first in my laundry room. I left the bottom shelf out of this one in order to fit my snow boots (with a small bag of ice melt tucked in next to it) and two other pairs of fall boots below the middle shelf which holds three pairs of sneakers. Another pair of sneakers would not fit on the middle shelf even with my tiny feet, but flats or flip flops on their sides would. Since I have room to spare, I just left it with the three pairs. The top shelf is currently empty, but I have not finished my reorganizing yet.The last unit ended up fitting perfectly behind my wood stove though I never measured to make sure. It is currently making use of only one shelf, the top one, which holds my two pairs of “back yard” shoes and a pot that needs to be returned to my shed. Underneath it sit the two, previously unsightly, brown paper bags filled with more brown bags; one for recycling shredded papers and one holding kindling, newspaper, fire starters, etc. for the wood stove. There’s at least 4” on either side of the bags that can hold other items as needed. In case you’re counting, I am only using six of the nine shelves and storing a ton of stuff. The spare shelves tucked in easily behind one of the laundry room units in case I need them later. I did not try stacking these, though I saved the hardware that came with them in the event I want to reconfigure someday. So far, I could not be happier with this purchase and would highly recommend!

LOVE these...NO tools needed!
My daughter has lots of shoes (I have even more, but I won't get into that! ha ha!) I got her the 2-pack of these shelves for the bottom of her closet, as well as one of those racks that hangs on her door. When I first got the box, I was shocked that the box was heavy. Not crazy, I-can't-lift-it heavy, but not junky. I have had many shoe racks in my life (yeah, I am addicted to shoes!) and this is THE BEST open shelf type I have seen. The wood ones take up too much room themselves, the plastic ones break, and many metal ones are too flimsy. This is nice and strong. When you open it, each piece is wrapped in plastic and strapped together so they don't shift around and scratch in the box. It was just a nice upgrade for the packaging. The box itself was really glued together, so I had to slice the top to get it open. That was the most work of the whole thing! It is hinged so the sides just fold out from the back and you snap the shelves on. You don't even need directions (though they are included.) The feet screw on the bottom and have a nice long shank so you can level the feet if needed. I ended up unscrewing mine almost the whole way in order to accommodate 4 more boxes of shoes UNDER the bottom shelf. The shelves sometimes needed smacked down to snap, but nothing too difficult. They have a foam insert inside the clip that holds the shelf to the frame so they don't slide and a few needed a little push to get down. You don't have to put all the shelves in, maybe you want a higher area inbetween, but we used all of them. They can stack and come with little (metal!) pins to put in the top of one and the feet of the next. They also come with little plastic ball finials so if you don't stack them, they don't have a hollow metal pole just jutting out. (The ball finials are on the product photo one.) For good shoes, I like to keep them in the boxes. I know someone was complaining that heels don't fit, but I don't like to leave nice shoes just out getting dusty, so we put them in the boxes with the tissue, and sometimes with dust bags that come with good shoes. My daughter has her Ugg boots in their box on these shelves. I am crazy, so I usually copy a photo of the shoes online and print them on big labels and stick them on the outside of the boxes...then I can visually scan and see what shoes are in what box! ha ha!! Some nice manufacturers include a photo of shoes right on the box, which is nice. You don't have to put them in boxes, though...just put shoes right on the rack. My daughter has one of the two-pack of shelves using boxes, and the other just open. She actually has a clothes rack with a bottom wire shelf and we put this on that. The feet kept falling through the wire, so we just took off the feet and fit the legs of the shelf through the wires so it sits flat.I also like that the top shelf has a little rail on the back. Many racks are just flat on the top, so if you put a box or a pair of shoes there, it is easy to to just slide them off the back and they fall into the abyss behind the rack. This one is nice also that there is no hard back to it, so if something does fall behind it (even clothes from above or something) you can see it and retrieve it.These are indeed very nice racks, much nicer than many shoe racks I have had (I also like those ones with all the squares ). Very well made and can be used for any shelving/storage needs. ones with all the squares
