I enjoy the flavor enough, not bad at all.I’ll say they are definitely a bit pricey, but so worth it for me.Lifetime IBS-D sufferer, low fodmap diet.I have been looking for a Meal-shake that won’t kill my guts for years with no luck. Even shakes that are supposed to be low fodmap have always irritated my bowels.These do not. Boom.I’m sold.I have used them to help get through really rough episodes effortlesslyAnd they are a great easy snack on a good day.Subscribe and save FTW. I drink a 12-bottle box per week at the moment.

I purchased this to add calories to my diet. I am concerned about what is contained in their “natural flavor “ listed in the ingredient list. I have contacted the company several times, they refuse to answer my question. In case people don’t know, when a product lists natural flavor, that means anything they don’t want to list, and it is usually not natural. Can be additives or chemicals they prefer not to mention. I refuse to continue to purchase this expensive product if they are obviously hiding something.

I've been drinking these for the past 2 months or so now and have no complaints about the product itself. Great taste, easy on the digestive system as many other people have said. The only issue is that the price for the chocolate flavor has now increased by more than 50% since the first time I ordered at the start of June. The first couple of times I ordered it was $35.99, the same as OWYN's other shakes. Then by June 24th it was $44.99. Now it's $54.99, even though the Chai version of this shake is still $35.99 and OWYN's regular protein shakes are still $35.99. So it's $4.58 per bottle. As much as I like the product I won't be able to keep buying it at this price.

I’ll confess... I’ve been a die hard fan of Garden of Life for a couple years now. I have severe Gastroparesis so my stomach is really picky and I tried so many protein shakes before settling on them I was really nervous about trying anything different.BUT I wanted a pre made good protein/meal shake that I could simply take with me.I just tried it now! WOW!!!! Tastebuds and stomach rejoice, we have a grand slam!!Will be reordering next week for more lol

Taste is something that grows on you, however, that is not the only thing that grows in this beverage. I noticed mold at an increasing rate over the course of one week and I haven't even gotten through 50% of the bottles. The labeling claims it only needs to be refrigerated after opening but that doesn't seem to be the case. I guess this means it's a poor choice to buy this in bulk? I won't again

As a vegetarian with a dairy sensitivity, most of the other shakes on the market with whey protein isolate/casein just do not digest well. OWYN is fabulous. I suffered rapid weight loss recently and have been struggling to get enough calories with limited volume and low-to-no appetite. OWYN just goes down really easy. I have tried only the chocolate flavor. It is not overwhelmingly chocolatey, but quite tasty. It has a very smooth texture and is quite thin (I'm not a fan of thick shakes when I'm not feeling well). It can easily be added to a blender if you want to add in additional ingredients, avocado, yogurt, flax oil, etc for additional calories.Bottom line 300 calories for 12 oz is a lot of bang for your buck, good for FODMAP-sensitive folks, those who struggle to get enouh calories and nutrition (eg, if you're on a restricted diet). My RD recommended this!

I needed a healthy way to gain weight when my Anemia got worse. Finding a High Calorie Nutritional Drink made from healthy natural foods, that provided everything my body needs, that was NOT designed for muscle builders or for loosing weight, did NOT contain any dairy products, tasted good, and did NOT contain warning for negative health effects was extremely difficult. Most nutritional drinks were too high in protein and therefore could result in kidney problems, which I already have. I was so happy to discover that OWYN did have a higher calorie product that met my needs. I am a 60 yr old women, 5 foot tall, and finally over 100 lbs. Thank-you OWYN!

Something in this is terrible for your digestive system. I don’t know if it was just a bad batch, but of the three drinks we’ve had, 2 people have had stomach pains and felt nauseated after partially drinking the bottle. Not even to completion and with no other food. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere. Something in this drink is bad.
