Good... Until the clean up!
OK, as you can see from the video, we put this to a different use than letting the kids play with it!We used it as a slime "prize" after doing a Pretty Muddy 5k run for charity... It got a good few extra quid in sponsorship as so many friends wanted to see us slimed (yup, really! It was whoever got the most money got slimed!) and the visual effect of using different colours - not shown in this part of the vid - was brilliant... However...The clean up...Ummmm....My first tip is COLD WATER... hot water reactivates the slime, even after its been diluted, believe me, my washing machine will attest to that... We blasted the clothes with cold water, lots of it and washed two items at a time (four of us were covered in slime) in a cold wash, they came out fine, no staining, seemed great...We showered off after being hosed off in the garden, again, cold water, lots and lots of it...It took ages, the stuff is extremely slippy, walking was precarious to say the least..Then I rinsed my washing machine a couple of times on cold washes with bleach.... Then a hot wash with a washing machine cleaner, and therein I made my mistake!!Whatever traces of slime were still in the system immediately reactivated and my pipes were blocked pretty darned quickly... Now seriously, I had done about eight washes with two items of clothing in each, extra rinsing AND each item had been blasted with cold water before that to get the stuff off... Yet after all that I still had to unblock my washing machine.... We are now two weeks away and have decided no was es over 30° for the next couple of months, just in case! I honestly can't say I understand how anyone could manage with a bath full of the stuff?Washing anything it came into contact with took a while, lots and lots and lots of cold water needed, in fact the buckets we used, two of them are sat out in the garden filling with lits of rain in the hope we will eventually be able to fill them with hot water one day without it becoming slimey!!Now... The garden.... The stuff has been dug into the soil, it doesn't seem to dissipate at all, and today I went out to find the rain has it pooling up out of the dug over garden... It seems rather indestructible!! :OIf doing similar, I'd recommend digging a deep hole and wearing clothes you are going to throw away and lining buckets with bin bags you are throwing away and making sure you have plenty of soil to fill in the hole afterwards... Because, let's face it... It IS kinda awesome effect wise, it was lots of fun, we raised over £5,000 and even with the steep learning curve and hassle afterwards, I'd still say it was worth it...Just be prepared....

Dangerous for BATHS
It’s looks like a fun idea but my child slipped and smashed his face on the bath and my husband struggled to pull him out. Might be fun for play but wouldn’t recommend for the bath. That’s why I’ve marked it down
