Why is the "shipping time" 1-3 months ? Why do people sell items they "apparently" do not have, or, haven't been made yet ? I need a battery now !

We have this item in stock and ready to ship, with 1 and 2 day shipping available. I'm not sure where you have seen the 1-3 month time frame.Sincerely,ShipSound Support

If a battery has an issue within the warranty period, is the return shipping covered by Amazon or Optima?

What Department do I contact with a defective battery within warranty period? I see no phone or email to explain my battery has died within a year of purchase/the warranty period?
