Excellent purchase!
I had a little trouble setting it up for my iPhone, once I got the sequence down its super easy to use! Sound quality is great and comes with multiple extension cables and an adaptor for cameras and recording devices. The case is very nice and has a pocket to keep the extensions and multiple microphone covers in! Highly reccommend!

Seller replaced quickly
Update: The first one was definitely a dud. The seller contacted me immediately and offered me a replacement. I received the new replacement in less than 24 hours after the seller contacted me. It works perfectly! I was really impressed with the customer service and how quickly they were to address my dissatisfaction. I highly recommend.I don’t know if I got a dud but it does not work at all. I am not a new to lavalier mics. I just wanted to replace a battery operated one I had. No matter what I did, I could not get this to work with my DSLR. It was not picking up any sounds. No way to contact the seller so I have to return it.

With the extension cord it is long enough to reach across room
Haven't tested thoroughly yet but so far I have no complaints. It's lightweight, easy to use and comes in it's on carry case. Easy to throw into purse or briefcase. Very quick delivery

Good Lapel Mic
I used this lapel with the Rode Wireless Go and a Fuji XT3. Worked prefect for my use and had no issues with the connections or audio quality. Audio quality was good, long cord length plus an included extension gave me plenty of options to hide the mic and record good audio.

Sounds muffled
So my daughter has a YouTube channel and we have tried to use this every which way possible and no matter what she does the sound never comes thru clear, it's always muffled.

Don't be fooled by price - this is all you need
This is an excellent kit, regardless of price. The hard case, the adapter, the extension cord, the lav mic - it's everything you need at a great price. I compared this lav mic directly to my Rode Smart Lav+ and it's very hard to tell the difference. I can't even honestly say that there IS a difference.Seriously, being able to throw this small protective case in my bag and knowing that everything I need is in there is such a bonus. I can see how someone would hesitate to use a mic of this price for professional work but I'd guess that if you used this WITHOUT knowing the price, you would have no idea how inexpensive it is.Especially if you're just buying this for your own personal use (YouTube, etc.) it is a phenomenal value.

Worth every penny
Initially got the rode lapel from watching YouTube reviews since I’m new to recording videos and media. I saw this troys going for way less and bought it and did a side by side audio quality comparison and went with Troy. The audio was the same if not that much different so going by that if you want to save then Troys. For me personally, First off the rode cord was too short for my need so I had to get a extension for an extra cost. After I used the extension the audio quality significantly dropped and was poor.The troys mic already comes with all the extensions and connectors at no additional charge. Using the extension did not affect the audio quality in any way so there you have it
