I bought it for my 7 year old who loves crafting, and she loved it. It took me and two of my kids a total of about 13 or so hours to complete, so it definitely is time consuming, but well worth the hours spent. If a kid under 10 was doing this on their own I think it would be quite a long haul, they might lose interest.
