An exceptional freshman effort from Electric Youth, the release brings back nostalgic feelings of 80's synthpop, but Bronwyn Griffin's ethereal voice soothes while Austin Garrick provides positive and uplifting sounds that mix the mentioned synthpop with electronica and instrumentals. While there is certainly something familiar about the cd, there is also a fresh feeling, that despite the nostalgic sound, it's also not something you would have found in the era it seems to mimic. As Garrick has stated himself, the sounds found here are not simply odes to a decade past, but a look to a future where Electric Youth's sound is fresh and feels new among pop, indie, and electronica releases.What sets this release apart for me is it's almost wholly uplifting and positive sound. There's something of a dose of drama, but nothing dark. Even in tracks like If All She Has Is You, you're motivated to feeling positive and let the soothing melodies wash over you. Electric Youth could not have come at a better time, with a unique sound that helps them stand out in the crowd.

It's a real mind bender that "The Best Thing" hasn't caught on like wildfire. The track is one of the smoothest and cleanest synergies of vocal and synth I've heard in a very long time. There are one or two "O.K." tracks on this record, but it's one of those that I have no problem listening from start to finish and then starting over again. I bought the vinyl, and this print seems to be very high quality with no tracking or feedback issues to speak of.

I just love this album I just got my album yesterday. Today on my way to work overtime. I was listening to the whole album and it blow my mind. It stand out because, its different and, not the same like other piece of crap of music. I fell in love with this album when the second track started. I cant wait to hear their next project because, I will be ready for it. I'll give this a five star continue to do your thing Electric Youth.

A mix between 80s electronica and Enya. Rather refreshing in contrast to what is being produced today.

12 tracks of excellent synthpop by this pair out of Canada! 9 original softly sung love songs! Also, an intro, an interlude & an exit! This couples debut deserves a six star rating! Thanx!

This album is well worth the price considering the run time and how intriguing the music is. I only wish that Electric Youth would come out with more albums!

I am enjoying lnnerworld while traveling to work on the metro and walking to my office. It is a wonderful album that, for me, makes the day brighter and my mood buoyant.

Electic Youth is my favorite band I love there CD. I went to see them live in Los Angeles last year in November. Awesome concert! Love you guys music :)

Consegna Amazon ok, il disco è davvero una chicca, si può ascoltare davvero all'infinito.

Comparado con la versión digital probablemente algunos sintetizadores suenen un poco ahogados sin embargo lo que suena mucho mejor es la voz de la vocalista, bastante clara y definida. Como plus el disco que recibí venía en color azul con algunas vetas blancas como efecto "marmol", inlcuye mp3 para descargar y una funda interna con las letras de las canciones. Vale la pena en este formato.

Si estás harto de reggaeton y te gustaba la música electrónica de los 80s hay un nuevo género llamado New Retro Wave recordando a un estilo de principios de los años 80s, pero que no es New Wave. Además la claridad de los instrumentos es cristalina.Electric Youth creo que es el mejor grupo representante de esta música. Yo los descubrí una canción que me encantó en la banda sonora de la película "Drive" llamada "A Real Hero".La voz Bronwyn Griffin es realmente preciosa y suena como un ángel.Además como escribe la wikipedia "Rolling Stone declaró a Electric Youth uno de los diez artistas que necesita conocer en 2014." y es yo lo reafirmo.

Le vinyle est sublime, couleur bleu comme sur la pochette. Un petit code à l’intérieur pour télécharger les musiques en audio ainsi que les paroles de toutes les chansons sur la pochette intérieur. Concernant cet album, il est magique, ce duo est très talentueux !
