I had this travel cot sent straight to my daughter and she’s absolutely thrilled with it. Her observations were as follows. The cot itself is really easy to set up and only took a short time. It’s really sturdy and beautifully finished with cute toys hanging from the mobile bar and set up for new borns it’s comfy and secure. The changing area is a fabulous idea and particularly handy when you are away from home and wanting to change your little one safely and without having to kneel on the floor. The changing section was tricky to put together and actually took as long as the rest of the cot so she left it assembled as it doesn’t take up much room. When dismantled the mattress wraps around it and then you can pull it along on the wheels similar to a suitcase. It doesn’t have a separate bag as such. It just becomes it’s own bag. She loves the colour as it’s nice and neutral and trendy. The music is a nice gentle melody and you would need to see if your baby is soothed by the vibration or not. You don’t have to use either if you don’t want to. You do need batteries for these functions. It was very quick and easy to take down and becomes really compact so great for putting in the car or storing. She felt when the little one is older and moves to the lower sleeping area she would buy a thicker mattress but these are easily sourced. You could probably get away with using the mattress provided for short periods but for a holiday away she felt a bit more comfort was preferable. This travel cot is excellent value for money considering it’s quality and the added extras. I was lucky enough to get it reduced but she felt it was well worth it’s full price (£99 on the day of writing this review). Having compared lots of different travel cots I’m so pleased I bought this as it’s going to mean my grandson is safe, comfortable and catered for when they come to visit. A grandma cannot ask for more.
