I have purchased many lamps for fly tying and all have been disappointments until now. The height of this lamp is quite sufficient and allows my hands ample free movement when working around my vises jaws. It’s not so low that the lamp head is an obstruction while tying. The various light intensities are a nice touch and the ability to change the lighting from warm to bright is a bonus. The lamp is quite stable even though while unpacking it I felt it may not be due to the lamp being so lightweight. It is not an issue as the base is long and wide enough to keep the lamp from tipping when adjusting the lamp for various lighting angles. I would have preferred an all metal lamp with less plastic but at this price point this lamp has exceeded all others and it will stay with me for quite a long time. If your hobby demands a fair amount of hand usage then this lamp is for you.

Yesterday, I received this lamp. The USB port was not working. I arranged online to return it to a Whole Foods store customer service, today. It took less than a minute to turn it in. This evening I got a new lamp delivered. It works perfectly. It has light (color temperature) adjustment, a sliding brightness adjuster, as well as a way to swivel the direction of the light's head and an USB charging port. It looks great and is not to heavy. I'm very happy with the product and replacement service.

I have to say, off the bat, great quality, both in the stand itself and the bulb. There is no flickering at all. It adjusts with ease and is perfect size to either be way above to give you more lit up area or you can adjust it low to have it more focused. The set up was super easy, just a couple of parts to plug into each other. I added a small bit of mounting puddy to the base of mine because I can be a bit rough at times so I didn't want it to tip over, but if youre not so tough on things then the base itself is sturdy enough on its own. Functionality wise its so diverse. I use the different shades of light for when im streaming.

These are really very good, and at a remarkably low price. I bought two — one for each end of my desk for lots of lighting plot variations. Well made and sturdy, clean high-tech design. Excellent work light for close-up repairs on tiny electronics since the light bar can be dropped as low as the desk surface. No shadows and out of the way. Far less bother than goose neck lamps. Bottom line: I bought this product with my own money, and apart from a few very minor quibbles, it's excellent. I work on a cramped desk in a nook in my bedroom, so space is at a premium. The lamp tilts in two places, and the head rotates. Rotation is about one degree of freedom short of convenient, but I did get it to fit. Movement is smooth and easy, but with the perfect amount of resistance so it won't slip out of place. The base is solid and very stable (thanks in part to not having that second rotation setting). I like that you can easily detach it for transport. The power cord is adequately long. I like that it isn't micro USB and comes with the appropriate plug, which is probably also why the brightness is so good. In the future, a powering it with a USB-C cord using Power Delivery would be nice for cable management without sacrificing brightness, but the barrel jack is fine by me. I'm tempted to try removing the base and fitting the upper part directly to my VESA pole. Settings: The touch controls have the right level of sensitivity (not too much or too little). It remembers its last settings, a common-sense feature that many other lights don't seem to have. Memory persists even after being unplugged. The dimmest setting is a little on the bright side for me, but the maximum is very bright indeed. The range of color temperatures is very good, from too low to too high, with enough settings that I easily found my Just Right. I have no idea what the CRI is, if you care about that kind of thing. The power button is always illuminated; this is good in an office so you can find it, but inconvenient in my bedroom where I want to minimize little LED status lights glowing everywhere. I'm hoping some black gaffer's tape doesn't interfere with the touch control. My version doesn't have a wireless phone charger, which I'm fine with, but the empty space on the base is the perfect size for me to tape a coaster for my morning tea. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. A few very minor annoyances aside, it does everything it needs to do very well.

My old one died. Not this brand. So I had to get a new one. I really like this because it provides different kinds of light and also different levels of light really like it.

This LED Desk Lamp brings a lot of features as noted in the description and by reviewers. It literally "brings a lot to the table" and is a great value. There are several color options. It is well designed, sturdy, has a small footprint. I have two comments /questions. The box it came in says "The maximum output of this USB charger is 5V 1A. Warning: This product is not suitable for charging high powered products such as tablets. The connection of anything higher than the maximum output may cause damage to the product or the device in use." This is a direct quote. The inside instructions do not carry such a description or warning. I find it somewhat confusingly written. I assume I can charge a phone. How many people are using this to charge iPads? A second comment is that the plug is rather close to the bottom of the upright part, so it is easier to plug it in before connecting the top lamp part to the base. If this lamp is ever redesigned I suggest the connection be moved higher about one half to one inch. May 3, 2021 Update. I have been very pleased and bought 2 more which have been set up ! Highly functional with relatively small but stable footprint. Excellent lighting.

I love this desk lamp. I got it when my old lamp needed a bulb change and, I simply could not find a bulb that gave off the right hue to sit beneath whilst applying make up. I hunted for ages on the Amazon website and decided to splash out on the JKSWT lamp which was more than I planned to spend but, it's a whopper and has a great range of modes including a great daylight mode. It's incredibly heavy so, you will not easily knock it over. It has a tall stand that can be adjusted to suit and, a long wide light area. It has a good, long lead. The quality of the light is superb and, you have a range of dimness or brightness along with several modes, warm, bright, daylight and, it's absolutely perfect when applying make up or doing close work. Yep it's big and chunky but, am so glad I splashed out and bought it.
