Yes, it did the job. Make sure you push the hoses in as hard as you can until you feel and hear a hard thud, then you know that they have passed the constricting rings to keep the hoses in place to prevent leakage. 2nd tip, is to make sure you have enough space and light behind the refrigerator to work with. 3rd tip, after installation, test your water dispenser to make sure the hoses of the water valve that you just installed are not leaking before you reposition your refrigerator.You test for it turning the water line ON and try getting water from the dispenser on the front.Finally, always be safe and work with the refrigerator plucked off from the wall and the water line to the refrigerator turned off before you begin any work. Stay safe!

I've replaced this type of water valve before on my Frigidaire several years ago. Well I felt the first time it lasted pretty long. So I bought this one as soon as it came in (about 4 28 2022). Nope didnot work. I even found a very clear youtube vid how to. Because I knew how to put it on in the first place. When it didnot work(just water coming out of the fill tube and not making ice, I felt I better check the video to make sure. Well, at the end I was correct in the setup. So the one connection that shoots the water up to the icemaker, must have a bad solenoid. It was cheap, and don't kid yourself, mostly everything is made in China. Even the original manufactures get hundreds of parts from China. Not putting Frigidaire down I like the fridge, or Amazon. Guess what, I'm ordering a water valve from Amazon again because of the price. all though a different listing. I'm on a tight budget, 60.00, 70.00 dollar one are a nogo.

This is a piece of crap. The hose bibs did not secure the hoses and they leaked all over the bottom of the refrigerator when I turned the water on. I'm not even sure this was a new item. It had ink hashtag marks all over it in different color ink. Trust the reviews. Original manufacturer products are the only ones you can trust.

This replaced an original unit in a Frigidaire refrigerator. The original has a slight angle on the metal bracket that has the fitting for the exterior water line. This one does not have that angle so it's just "slightly" more difficult to attach the water line. But it was not a problem at all.

Part was missing a peace that secures a water line to the assemble.Was not able to replace old unit with new one due to this issue.

The inlet valve that came in broke, was replaced within 2 days that I filed a complaint. this new one its been doing a amazing job I'm happy for the fast solution I found from the seller.

I installed the water valve, and after a week I noticed it making a loud humming noise then the water dispenser stopped working.

Just the right part for the repair my son-in-law made!
