Very easy to use lighter
Overall, this lighter has been performing very well. Battery life is significantly better than expected, clocking in at almost 25 uses before it died. This model has a lazer indent on the side that, when broken, activates the arc of electricity needed to light. For it's compact size and rechargeable battery, this lighter deserves all 5 stars. however, the arc on this lighter is constantly spinning within a metal circle, meaning it's purpose is generally for cigarettes and cigars. Fits easily in the pocket and charges in a little over an hour. Lovely lighter.

Unique lighter!
It's definitely a cool lighter design... looks great and has good weight. The contrasting green, blue and purple lights stand out. It's also an attention grabber when used for birthday party candles! Initially, I had an issue with the thumb sensor, with it only turning on half the time, but the seller was very responsive and offered to send a replacement immediately. The new one has been working perfectly for a while now!

Trendy, stylish, and functional
Pros:80 Mph, convertible top down, no problem lighting cigarette.Battery life is sufficientWarrantyCustomer service is responsiveCons:1st one I got wouldn't hold a charge. However manufacturer took care of shopping a new one and even used 2 day shipping. They responded same day and didn't give me a hard time. Not good for lighting camp fire.Takes longer than conventional lighter to light cigarette.

Stays lit
The media could not be loaded. This lighter very sleek and designed well. It holds up in the wind very well and doesn't disappoint. The design fits my hand like it was meant to be held. My teenage son stole this, so I bought the rainbow for myself! I feel comfortable having this in my purse and not worrying about it breaking. It also has a battery indicator on the front so you know when to recharge it. So convenient! It stays lit until you remove our finger from the side. I plan to buy more as gifts!!

Looks cool, built well and love the idea.
After buying 5 different types of arc lighters I'll tell you 3 out of 5 look cool but are less functional / practical then the top three.

Please read if you're considering buying this
I almost never leave reviews but this product was honestly so bad I felt obligated to warn anyone that might buy it. I liked the overall sleek unique look this lighter had, so I figured I'd try it out. As soon as it arrived, I took it out of the box.. it turned on. Then I turned it off, and closed the top and it literally never worked again. It broke after lighting once. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I've had several lighters like this and I've NEVER had this happen. And let's be honest, $22 is alot for a lighter especially for the terrible quality of this one. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it and waiting weeks to get my money back. If you are looking around for one like this, save your money and look at other options. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Unique Lighter
There are other arc lighters out there, and this lighter has the unique featurefor getting the lighter to work. Just as easy as other variations of the touch sensor lighter.Extended use of having the lighter on, wears down the battery excessively. Seller is veryhelpful, with good communication also.

Stopped working after lighting <5 cigarettes
Title pretty much says it all.. product seems to be poorly designed, or at least is a bad concept. The issue is the combustible material must be placed in the path of the plasma arcs (between the electrical terminals around the periphery which converge and terminate in the center) since plasma does not emit or radiate heat to a significant degree like a flame does..what seems to happen when you stick the tip of your cigarette into the opening (especially if loosely-packed) is particulates are carried by the plasma arcs and they seem to have a tendency to stick to the center terminal, which eventually gunks it up enough to break continuity (ceases to "ignite"). This issue seems to occur to a lesser extent with firmly-packed cigarettes so that only the paper can be placed in the arcs' paths and tobacco is not introduced into the particulate "spray."There were signs leading up to failure that the terminals had started becoming obstructed, specifically: the arcs started turning from the pure blue color (fresh out of the box), to blue & yellow, and eventually mostly yellow w/ blue. Rather than this color change being interpreted as a changed in plasma arc temperature (blue should equal 2000 Kelvins, yellow = 8000K), I believe what I'm seeing is just yellow flames from the particulates on the terminals being combusted.Although I did try to clean the terminals with a small brush and ensure the battery was fully charged, the lighter has officially (and unfortunately) stopped working altogether. All it does now is making an audible electronic click sound like it's closing a switch, but I can no longer see any visible signs that it's even attempting to light. As far as I'm concerned, this is a novelty desk toy or a flashy, futuristic-looking lighter you might nonchalantly pull out at a party while wearing sunglasses indoors.. but little more than that. Obviously I wouldn't gift this to someone, knowing full well it probably will stop working after only a single afternoon's use, and I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone buy this thinking it's going to be their new EDC (main) lighter.
