Margaritaville Cordless Frozen Concoction Maker with Re-chargeable Battery, 60 Drinks per Charge

I bought this machine to make non-alcoholic versions of daiquiris and margaritias and discovred that this is one heck of a slush maker as well! The consistency of the drinks that this machine makes is like a frozen coke consistency and the machine works very quickly and easily. The machine is also very easy to clean after use. I am able to get three full batches of drinks from one batch of ice from my refrigerator's automatic ice maker. The automatic feature shaves ice and blends perfectly. This is the third "smoothie" type machine that I have had and the only one that works like it is supposed to. The battery charges well and so far I have made 15 batches of drinks without a recharge.This will definitely be nice on hot summer nights on the deck!

Makes a great drink, but it is vey heavy and it takes up alot of room. If you're tailgating and staying in one place, it's great. A little cumbersome for the boat.

I have wanted a frozen concoction maker since they first appeared in SkyMall. I finally bit-the-bullet and bought one for my husband's birthday..haha. I actually found a refurbished cordless concoction maker. IT IS FABULOUS!!! I cannot say one bad thing about it yet. We plan on taking it everywhere this summer. The battery works great, it is super easy to clean, the shaved ice is wonderful. The kids are even enjoying it for frozen drinks. My first batch was a little icy, but the second batch I just manually blended it for a minute after the cycle was complete, and it produced a perfectly smooth beverage. Seriously... worth the money- If you are planning on using it only at home, just grab one with a cord. The cordless does not give you the option to plug in~ battery only.

came quickly , but ice shaver never worked. blender works well but usless with out ice shaver. Returned the unit for replacement and they dont have anotherso no blender for now

I would never buy something like this for myself. I made the purchase for a friend who is not too computer savvy and does not have a credit card to buy stuff online. He paid me cash and I used my credit card.The battery will not last a year. We got him a new battery, but then the whole unit bit the dust not too long after the warranty ran out. It is designed so that it is impossible to take apart and fix yourself.Not for me

I took my battery operated Margaritaville machine to the beach in Destin, Florida this summer. I also use it on my pontoon boat when electricity is not available. While I love the portability the battery operated machine, you definitely need at least two batteries if you plan on making more than 2 or 3 batches. I find the battery life to be very poor which forced me to buy a backup. Also, additional batteries are EXTREMELY overpriced. It cost me around $100 to get a backup battery - that's crazy, but I didn't reel I had much of a choice. Lastly, it would be wonderful to have the option to plug it in when electricity is available. I hate the fact that I have to charge batteries at home or I my camper to make a drink. The idea behind the machine is great, but there is a lot of room for improvement considering the price I paid. I like mine in certain situations, but I'd have a hard time recommending to others.

This battery powered margarita maker is awesome to say the least. Me and my wife sit in the front yard drinking margaritas while the kids play. Especially now that the weather temperature has risin. Being able to make margaritas anywhere is such a convenience. No worrying about where to plug in this machine is a plus. Had a party the other day and everyone was amazed by it and loved the quality of the margaritas. Now I have my kids wanting smoothes, so I've created two monsters begging for me to use this machine. I add different fruits to their drinks so they get their dose of vitamins. Ordering a second battery is a must so you don't unexpectedly run out of power. This was a purchase well worth the money.
