i just got the new mini2 and was looking for a good carrying case to protect my drone. i found this symik dual layer case and think it is one of the best cases out there for the layout and value. probably the only case that has 2 layers for both top and bottom storage. the bottom layer has storage for a tablet and landing pad. i use mainly a cell phone when flying, but i have a landing pad along with some other spare parts like propellers and screw driver on the bottom. the top layer stores the essential items such as the drone, remote controller and battery charging hub. the top layer also has 2 rugged ropes to help easily pull out to access the bottom storage area. everything is well thought out and some of the slots can be removed to fit other optional things like the smart controller. these slots are precut already so there is no need to modify anything if you have the fancy smart controller. everything on this case says premium. the compartment that stores all of the items are perfectly cut out and holds it all securely. the case even has cutouts to store the little sd cards and spare joysticks. the actually case itself appears really rigid. i even stood on the case and it held up with no issues. the handle is solid and so are the latches to lock the case. when latched, the main items are securely protected inside the case. there is no rattle or what so ever when you try to share the case. i would highly recommend this case for anyone who is looking for a good carrying case for the mini 2.

I recently purchased the Symik case for my new DJI Mini 2. Every item that I currently own for my drone fits neatly and tightly into the case. The foam inserts are somewhat modular and can be adjusted based on your needs. I love the fact that it is a two-level design. One of the key pieces that drove me towards this product was the latching system. It seems very secure compared to some other brands I have researched. The black hard shell looks like it can endure my travel schedule and I look forward to using it on my next trip overseas. It comes with ads for other Symik items to purchase which can be helpful because you know it is designed for this case. My only current recommendation is to provide a shoulder strap itself for the case. I am very pleased and looking forward to using this versatile case!!

At this writing, this is the only case capable of holding the DJI Smart Controller with the Mini 2. It's strength is its versatility...you can use battery cutouts or pull them out and have a big square storage space or pull out the Fly More Combo battery charger cutout and use it for extra storage for ND filters and lanyard. It's also thoughtful because it has deep cutouts for storing AC charger and cables to recharge transmitter or batteries. It's well made hard plastic outer shell that can be locked (with your own lock). The case even shuts with the Smart Controller sticks on but I took them off, just in case they put too much pressure on them. Also, the whole cutout tray lifts up to reveal an area of more storage (1" max deep) that could store ND filter case or lanyard or ???Highly recommended!

The best possible case for my DJI mini 2 was the objective and hands down this case delivered large. The dual layer design in brilliant and the CNC cut outs in the foam are done with precision. Holds everything securely in place but every component is easy to remove. I also purchased the Symik landing pad which folds up and goes in the lower level of the case. The forward thinkers at Symik even planned for the future in making this case capable of holding up to 8 batteries and the upgraded DJI controller with the bright HD flat screen. This is the best purchase of anything I have made in a long time. This is a great case offering outstanding value.

Looks like everything is held in from the lid pretty secure. I wish the drone (DJI Mini SE) fir more snugly around the edges, as well as the controller in its inserted compartment. But like I said, the foam from the lid holds it down pretty securely, so they don't seem to be moving around regardless. My Ipad Pro 12.9 fits in the bottom, but for it to fit all of the lower foam pieces had to be removed. Due to this, the Ipad fits snug width wise but not length wise. To fix this, I just cut the top and bottom off of the largest foam insert and placed it above and below the Ipad for some extra cushion. All in all, seems like a great case that holds everything in pretty securely.
